And I might add even thought the wire may not look broken on the outside ? Does not mean it is not broken on the inside. I had that problem and believe me I almost went bald over that one......

Doesn't Look Good For 2007
by Undecided ini got up this morning and turned the thermostat up and the furnace wouldn't light.
so far i haven't been able to fix it.
the gas won't come on to light it.

Listen I work on these things all the time because I am a landlord. I find that when the pilot will not light it is one of two things. Either there is a broken wire or the thermo coupler is out and needs replaced. I hope that helps

i walked up to them and calmly said that this is the second warning that they were trespassing on my property and that no jehovah's witnesses are aloud on this property knocking on doors.
i have a tenant who is a jw and this is fine with me and they are aloud to come and visit her but i do not allow them to bother my tenants as they all prefer they stay away anyways.

Have you ever heard of agressiveness without rudeness ? Yeah I am damn mad at the society for their lies that damn near caused me one of them. But that does not mean that I treat people by means of anger or even rudeness. This is clearly you judging a person that you don't even know. How rude is that ?

To those who oppose my actions ? What can I say ? Do I owe you something ? I think not except understanding. And it's okay to post your own opinions on my thread, I do not expect everyone to agree with me. Someone said they never knew who I was until this thread ? I have been here for a very long time as many others and when you have been a member of a board for as long as some of us what others tend to say you just learn to shrug them off and move on.
You can assume whatever it is that makes you happy and judge others as God will judge you. If you are trying to make someone angry or upset here well sorry it will not work. Some of us have been out of the society for some time and all those aggressions and anger have moved on. When I first came out of the society I was very angry and bitter that I had been lied too. Today after having freedom from a cult society I have a sense of self-ism I might say , meaning that I can now think act and react in a way that is peaceful. So if you who disagree with my actions telling the JW to get off my property, well hopefully you will be able to stand up against them one day and speak your right mind to them also instead of cowering from them.

You came across to me as being very rude, like some kind of redneck, feeling like a bad ass for scaring two little JW ladies, mentioning how the tenants just loved you for this big bold stand of yours. You then post your story here patting yourself on the back along the way. And you wonder why some have a problem with this?
You reply as if I purposely intended to scare them witnesses. I did not intend on scaring them other than if they were caught knocking on doors that I would call the police. Which is quite within the boundaries of the law. It was not my fault that they got scared. But I will admit that I did chuckle a bit about it. But never was my intentions. I was indeed polite and mannerly and all I wanted to do was to tell them that were not wanted on this property which is also within the means of law. What part of any of this quandry don't you understand ?

Yeah ! Just like the Mormons except they do it by having more children. I was a Mormon when I was 14 and I can remember many families that had 8 or more children. All little Mormons.

I hope that in time you will learn compassion, tenderness, and tolerance. It will look better on you. (By the way, Jesus was not driving out ladies, he was driving out money grubbing men--maybe I am getting old and out of tune with society in general but I still feel that real men do not treat ladies in this fashion--no matter what the supposed reason)
Allow me to say this one more time to those who think I am a rude prick. I Never raised my voice or use profound language. I was not rude by any means !
I simply told them that I had warned before and the next time I was calling the police. Calling the police is what scared them. Oh and the signs posted ? They are now !
As far as my tenants go ? I have spoken to them and they all except one who is a witness or studying to be a witness have plainly told me thank you for keeping them away. This is why I live on sight, to keep order and to keep all things in a working fashion.

You obviously think I am a male chauvinist, but your wrong it would not matter if it were men or woman, in fact it was men who I warned the first time and wouldn't you know it ? They ran faster than the women.
