Who thinks Cannabis/Marihuana should be legalised?

i think in most countries it is illegal to use this drug, so do you think it should be decriminalised, legalised & taxed, made legal for the medical proffesion or should it remain completely illegal?

It already is in California and several other states. So why not legalize it everywhere ?

WTS SAYS ELDERS SINS DON'T COUNT!

sometime ago i posted a discussion on h20 about the nov. 1991 kingdom ministry school for elders / ms held at woodburn, oregon.

during that school session the co stated that elders who commit a serious sin, even a gross sin, did not have to be removed if the event took place two or three years prior, and the elder continued to be respected, giving evidence of jehovahs blessing.

the co stipulated that this only applied to elders and ms and not to regular publishers.

i was just curious how that transition was?

did you simply start attending some other church right away?

if so, how did you choose which church to attend?

You are there to worship Christ not some church or organisation.

This is where I am at now. I tried several different churches after coming out but found that to many had legalism in their doctrine that was not scriptural. So today I keep my faith to myself and do not attend church. If I were to find a church that was not judgemental and did not create rules unscriptural I would probably go but that is a chore in itself.

No, We already have one and no one asked us if we even wanted it, it was built and now many low income families are even lower because of it.

(well part of it at least (am a bit shy still...) because i am not scared to be found out anymore.

mind you i've been df'ed for nearly a year now but still had hope 'friends' would remember we were like family and realize they couldn't possibly live the rest of their lives without talking to me again....ha!

Fantastic !

Loosing your fear of the Borg is a huge step in overcoming the comings from the watchtower if you know what I mean. Finding out the real truth on the troof will release you from their bonds. And yes the bonds are many and they make you feel tied. But those will go away and soon you will find a peace in you that is quite comforting. Keep strong and never give in.

There would be no membership dues, no initiation ritual, no pressure about attending, and no way to get kicked out. One of the only rules would be that you have to be respectful of people and property.

There are many great ideas. I think I liked this one above the best though.

I think a church should be free for all, non condemning, non judgemental and loving to all who enter, teaching the true love the same as Christ taught us. Not placing any hopes in the church but in salvation only. Teaching exactly what the scriptures teach. There would be four words that would be the top of the teaching list and that would be, Faith, Hope, Love and Peace.....

I have often thought of starting my own church, just a small group of people who can all join in open heartedly and honestly. I have been to several different churches and find that most are the same in one aspect. They judge others ! This has caused me to lose hope in religion even though I think it is vital to a healthy faith.

Many of you I can see here would make great church starters, is it because we come from a cult ? Is it from our knowledge from false religions that gives us a real knowledge of how a real church should be ? Man if I could find this kind of church I would go but through past experiences I don't think this is possible unless I were to start one of my own.
