  but he remained unwavering in his insistence that the invasion of iraq, which began in march 2003, had made the world better and the united states safer.. "five years into this battle, there is an understandable debate over whether the war was worth fighting, whether the fight is worth winning, and whether we can win it," he said.

  Speak for yourself. I didn't vote for Bushler. I voted against him. And it's debatable whether or not he actually won either election fair and square.

  Yeah, I didn't vote for the prick either ! I voted for Kerry which I don't think was much better to be honest. But I will say this, most people don't know or believe. It is going to get much worse in the next several months. If you have not studied those new terrorist laws you should. You would be surprised what you will read, mostly shocked that any of this can happen in the United States.

  Yes and while we spend billions and billions of dollars on a war with Iraq an illegal war at that we put more and moreout on the streets. I'm telling you guys we are in for a very serious situations coming to a city near you. We are going to see the days of the 1920's another depression. If I had money in the stock markets or being invested elsewhere , take it out because your not going to see any of it soon. You can thank your G.w. Bush for this one and his admin. I expect Bush to call a marshal law within the next 7 or 8 months.

  My Non-Earthshaking JW Encounter

  this one is not earthshaking in any way, but i thought i would share it in the hopes that it'll give you the same chuckle that it gave me.. yesterday my wife and i were out on errands, and we ate at a local fast food restaurant.

  we ordered, and took our food to our table.

  in the table next to us was a mail carrier on his lunch break.

  Wait ! Is not a mailperson a government official ? A Jehovah's witness working for the government ? I thought that Jehovah's witnesses are not to associate with the government ? Ya gettin my drift here ? On one hand they don't support the government but yet you can go get a paycheck from them AEY ? So two faced it's pathetic !

  Hi,you might know my big sister..

  im 19 and im still going to meetings.ive been sort of unhappy for a while.my older sister left the truth about 9 or 10 years ago.my brother was on her heels a couple of years later.ive been told that they were weak,selfish,posessed and drug addicts.i knew this wasnt true,they were both brilliant and caring of me.i havent spoken to them in at least 3 years.alot of gossip still circulates about them,especially sarah.she intimidated everybody and i suppose this is how they feel superior.. im rambling,sorry.im just overwhelmed.i ran into sarah at a walmart and she was radiant.i chatted her ear off for an hour and she hugged me when i cried.i told her i wanted out,that i know something isnt right but i m so scared.she suggested some of teh online groups to help.i guess she went to thomschat but thats not there anymore.she said my struggle would be different than hers because she never believed in the witnesses.i did.any advice or books to read or whatever you suggest,i just want to learn.she said crisis of conscience would probably help.okay thanks..

  My neice died this morning

  my neice who had cancer died at 3:00 a.m. my sister just called and told me.

  i'll put up the obituiaries when it's posted.

  I know just how you feel, I lost my youngest brother to sarcoma cancer in 1995 he was just 21 years old. This is so young to die and I am very sorry for your loss.

  In Memory of Puternut

  after reading the news about puternut, i decided to compile some of his posts into one, so we can all share in his memory.

  there are many ups and downs listed below, but i ended it off with a post he made to all of us who helped him during his difficult times.

  puternut is starting his life over, because i had nothing left, and needed to move on.

  customs are practices that apply to social life and are common to a particular place or class of people.

  while they say at the same time that it is unreasonable to ban customs that no longer have pagan connotations or current religious significance.

  Christmas has a religious significance but they do not celebrate that ! It's all about control period..........
