i am curious because i was never baptised.
i know i was lied to before baptism but i was wondering if it got worse after being baptised.
i would like to know if things changed in doctrine or knowledge after you were baptised.
I am curious because I was never baptised. I know I was lied to before baptism but I was wondering if it got worse after being baptised. I would like to know if things changed in doctrine or knowledge after you were baptised. Was there things about the troof that you did not have knowledge of and then once baptised did you learn doctrinal things previously not spoken of.
My reason for asking this is because since coming to JWD I have learned so much more about the JW doctrine that I did not know when I was studing their troof. And I feel they only shared part of their teachings just to get us in and then after they got you it was then that you learned the full doctrine.
What the heck did I miss, gees go out of town for the weekend and I missed all the hype.
i used to thinik it was better... but now i realize it was a way for the elders to keep an eye on who was giving!
biddie
The whole time being involved with the society I never once put one dime in that darn box. When the elder that was studing with me told me that I needed to pay for the mags and then ask for a donation at the door, I told him then I was keeping the money I collected to repay me for what I had paid. He said "NO" you must give that money back to the society. So my first thought was Oh so they collect twice for the same magazine. "FREAKIN THIEFS !!!!!!!!!!
i told my mom that other groups use it too and she wants proof.
i looked up on google and a few other exjw sites about this and can't get anything.
can you help, please?
Jehovah is used in my baptist church
i work with a guy who sleep with a lot of different woman, and when i say a lot, i mean a lot!
i know what some are thinking, "oh he probably sleeps with a few and makes it sound like more.
" well i would think that too, if i did not actually meet a lot of these woman and work with some of them and they admit to sleeping with him on a regular basis.
I can live without it, that would really suck getting burned for getting the pepe wet......
i just watched the local bbc news and there was a story about a woman who'd fed her baby while sitting on a public bench.
she finished and was on her way when a police car drew up beside her and asked her to stop.
there had been a complaint.
Flyinghighnow,
To respond to your post on the first page about tasting breast milk. I remember when my first wife one night we were about to make love and I was playing with her breast and she said they were hurting because they were full of milk and the baby was asleep. So I said hell if the milk was good enough for my son to drink it should be okay for me to drink so I RELIEVED HER. It did not taste bad at all and I got to finish playing with the titty. She breast fed in public and no one ever complained about it. Then we learned about the breast pump and never had that problem again.....
