why does the WTS try to explain how good medically NO BLOOD IS?
by ?me? inlooking at the questions to go over for the blood video, it looks like and i have heard in the past how the wts expounds about the medical positives of not taking blood, and rails against blood for all the problems, diseases, and the fact that it does not always work........... the real question is....... why do they even waste time on that if the issue is supposed to be a biblical/scriptural restriction.?.
even if taking blood was the best thing in the world for you , the wts stance is that the bible and jehovah forbid it, end of story.
there is really no need to try to convince people who want to supposedly follow jehovah's command to abstain from blood.

why do they even waste time on that if the issue is supposed to be a BIBLICAL/SCRIPTURAL RESTRICTION.?
It's how they cover up doctrine that is not correct from scriptures. It's the same as when President Bush said on tv several years ago. "Iraq has weapons of mass destruction and besides that Saddam tried to kill my daddy" !

This is exactly why I quit going to churches. The hypocrisy is very deep ! I have decided that salvation is a personal thing between you and Jesus Christ and not between you and a church. Church does not save us ! Jesus does ! I keep my faith between me and Jesus and I just try to do as he commands. To love your neighbor as yourself & Love God with all your heart.
Religion is something created by imperfect man, Faith is something created by Gods perfect spirit !

Not to get off topic but the ad under your thread says Don't let Hillary become president paid for by John McCain. Well sorry but if John McCain is the republican runner up ? I am voting for the first women president of this united states because I honestly think she will do a better job than the other. Putting him in the white house will mean at least four more years of Bush and I can't do that again.

How many JWs do you know that have "Failure to Launch" Syndrome
by BBOARD intired of the hypocrisy's post got me thinking ... how many jw "kids" over the age when they should have left home still live with their parents.
i say this because i have many of those in my congregation.
fyi it looks real bad to be a older man (ie 25 and up) scrub laying up at home unless you have a outstanding circumstance i.e.

There are a lot of young adults in the organization living with parents because the organization stunts their development by not allowing them to become educated so they wont depend upon their parents and organization so much.
This is so sad, these young people are being deprived of education and forced to be burger flippers and window washers. Sure it takes all kinds to make the world go round but it should always be their own choice. Not the governments choice and not religions choice. Gee I do believe that God gave Adam and Eve the choice but yet a religion trying to take away something that God specifically gave is nonspiritual. Oh they say they do not take away their choice and they may not dis-fellowship you for going to college but you do gain a certain amount of lets say brownie points when you pioneer. They should be ashamed for all these accounts.

The mean-spirited words say otherwise....take the high road folks and let it be.... to do less regarding a human being's passing only demeans your "better selves".
Excuse me ? Just where did I demean anyone in my post ? I believe I was explaining that these kind of words can come from those who are fresh out because of their anger for the cult telling lies and destroying lives.

SusanHere,
I got to ask you this question, I know it is off topic a bit but I need to know.
How does a Mormon say they believe in the bible but yet do not believe in Hell ? Do the Mormons only believe some of the bible like the JW's do or do are they brainwashed to believe anything they hear ? This is asked with all due respect too.

Common human decency prevents most people from making jokes about the death of any human being.
Pres. Hinkley was a man of rare kindness and compassion who devoted his life to bettering the lot of all people. He was a much loved leader who will be missed by those who knew him.
For these reasons, if for no others, please show some respect for those who grieve his passing. It's the right thing to do.
susanhere,
You must know that you are in a ex cult discussion board. Here we have bitter feelings for those who lie to others about their salvation. The Mormon religion is a cult just like the JW's. If you do your research you will find this to be true but then maybe you are scared to find out what the truth really is. But again we are ex cult members here and if you do not like what we have to say about cults like the one your in then you are in the wrong place. Yes he may have been a kind and compassionate man no one is trying to take that away and where he is right now it is not for us to judge but as for the cult religion we will not follow or give in too. Sorry but that is just the way it is.
