  The first one has been running for 4 years, the second one was created today.
  
  Anyone who owns a yuku message board, I can interconnect your boards by creating a board ring and adding it to your community. A ring is like a drop down menu, you click on it, it pops open and you can jump from one board to another easily.
  Of course I'd have to have the permission of owners of all boards involved to do this.
  
  Here is an example:

  Look at the top left where you see "sister cities". when you open that menu you will see the interconnected boards and you can jump from one to another.

  What's Your MAIN Reason For Not Believing In "The Truth"?

  my mother had this discussion yesterday.

  basically, my main argument was that if the fds gets jehovah's holy spirit and their "food" is "the truth", yet they always are correcting themselves, how can anyone in all fairness believe it's "the truth"??

  you can't show scripturally why organ transplants are a form of cannibalism and clearly a disfellowshipping offense and a couple of years later after possible disfellowshippings or death, and then believe jehovah god changed his view suddenly.

  I went back twice. The second time I got screwed over really badly by a wannabe elder who showed a very selfish, un-christian like attitude (long story don't worry about it).

  Major Changes in Watchtower Land???

  according to my wife, who is reading some other discussion board, the following changes are happening in the organization, or will happen, or have happened:.

  1. no more book study meetings.

  instead, the book study is added to the theocratic ministry school meeting.. 2. awake is published only once a month.. 3. two versions of the watchtower: one for the public, one for the witnesses themselves.. 4. shortened sunday meetings -- 1.5 hours instead of 2.0 hours.. 5. shortened hourly requirements for pioneers (this one may not be as new as the others?)..

  Wow I was just wandering by here and reading this. I've been out of the loop. I'm shocked! The word "slacking" came to mind. Maybe with shortening the meetings they are hoping to attract more people. Who on earth wants to sit through 3 meetings a week, including taking a two hour chunk out of your Sunday morning? I've always thought that all those meetings might be a turnoff.

  I can't remember her name now, but I think they met on his board. They had a chat room there and the chat room was pretty popular. I think they met in chat.

  i wonder if anyone else who grew up as a jw can relate with me on this subject.. i grew up hearing stories of 'faithful brothers & sisters' being tortured to a point where they were almost dead.

  all they had to do to be set free was renounce jehovah and their religon.

  the stories i heard of torture were graphic in nature and to this day i can not handle hearing about torture or watch it being portrayed in movies.

  I have not posted here in a while, due to lack of time mostly. Today I was browsing the web for a work related issue, and I remembered JWD. I also remembered Thom, who used to post here and then made his own board. When trying to look it up, I did a double take when I saw the page: http://www.thomschat.com/ Does anyone know what happened? Did he get sued by the WTS like quotes did? I'm curious to find out what happened. Oh and while I'm here.. hi to all my old friends! I hope that some of you are still posting here. And also while I'm still here, the work related issue I was browsing the web for.. if anyone has a message board on phpbb, could you please send me a private message? I am looking for a phpbb message board, any board is fine, it doesn't matter whether it is active or what the subject matter of the board might be. People I want to say hi to..
