So were any bible prophecies true?

i'm just wondering to what extent the bible accurately predicted future events?.

when i was a good little jw, i was constantly reassured that we could have confidence in the paradise because the bible always got it's predictions correct since it was inspired by jah, blah, blah.. does anyone know of a good website which critically examines each bible prophecy one by one?

what do real bible scholars with no bias make off all these prophecies?.

Joshua and Moses predicted where they were going to be buried after they cacked. They were right. That is, if they actually wrote the books that the WTS says they did.

This is the whole point. We have no proof one way or the other. We have no proof that the bible books were written by so and so. We have no proof that the prophesies were added afterwards, and we have no proof that they are original and true. As with all other bible questions, there are excellent arguments to be found both ways. It drives me nuts.

i recycle where i can - don't pollute intentionally - never litter - but that is about as far as i go.. how active in maintaining this planet for the future are you?.

LOL, I might win the award of being the greenest. I am probably "green" to a point some might find ridiculous.

My garbage can probably fill no more than one little grocery bag a month.. everything gets recycled around here.

Everything that can be burned (cereal boxes, etc...) gets burned.

I use most empty plastic containers to put plants in when I start them indoors.

All vegetable scraps, eggshells, etc.. get thrown back into the garden or on my compost pile.

I don't own a vehicle, don't use chemicals, etc....

How do you give a cat a pill?

my cat is a little sick (all sorts of nasty things coming out the business end .

i was also given some pills that need to be administered once a day... but she will pitch an absolute fit when i try to stick it down her mouth.

she always manages to bring it back up and slobber it onto the floor.

Elsewhere, I have given my cat pills on occasion. I really can't make her do anything she doesn't want to, just like any other cat I guess.

What worked for me is to crush the pill and put it in her most favorite food, which is tuna. Only serve as much as you know she'll eat.

I Feel So Bad.....HELP

i was so disappointed when i saw that my pm bin had been emptied of something that i wanted desperately to keep!

i have never paid much attention to when the pms get the axe....i am usually done replying etc within a week or two so and haven't kept track of this.. my problem is......i hade exchanged snail-mail addies with some of the posters here, and we had agreed to send christmas cards.

i didn't write the addies down---cuz i knew right where they were and thought i could retrieve them when the time came......they are gone!.

Don't feel bad about it. Perhaps if you keep this on top for a while, people will find your post and send you their addies again.

I found out the hard way that the pm boxes get dumped every once in a while. I too had personal info from other members in my pm box, thinking things were safe there.. so don't feel bad, it is a normal thing to do. Why write something on a scrap of paper when you already have it stored in your pm box? It is just a normal way of thinking.

My suggestion to Simon is, why not put a limit on the pm boxes, instead of dumping them out without letting people know?

My bet is on a blood issue as well,
