In a public prayer, pray to easter bunny instead of jehovah, their both the same, not real.

Do not worship the elders or laugh at their jokes

Just another way to grab the emotional weak (at the time) promise something so extraordinary, so far reaching, so desirous, that in time they have got them in their trap and it is hard to escape when believed. Not much different than another cult promising to build a flying saucer to go to another planet where life is bliss. Both will not happen!

i was reading the topic on sisters having to sit in the backseat even if it was their car.

made me think of a few rules i was subjected to.

one was we were not allowed to have a radio on.

Making sure not too many jdubs "congregate" on the sidewalk and heaven forbid talk to each other for 2 minutes. Reading all these comments it is so evident that jw's are the true modern day pharisee's with thousands of rules that just bring down the flock.
