please, no cheating (if you look it up, don't post the answer until other people have had a go) .

some dastardly villain has set up a device that will explode unless the two scales are each loaded with 6 litres of water.

you have a 12-litre bucket that is full of water along with empty 8 litre and 5 litre containers .

first time i have ever posted a message so my apologies if i am not as succinct in my use of language as some of the other contributors appear to be.

my cousin, who was in his late 20's at the time, announced that he was one of the 144,000 in the mid eighties.

his poor mother, who was scitzophrenic, was hospitalised as the shock sent her into an attack.

Once a long time ago at a very boring Sunday talk (what's new?) a brother posed the same question, so what he did was ask all the males in the audience to show hands, then after asked all the females to do the same. He then at length explained that as we all know what sex we are, and are very certain of that, it was the same for the 144,000 they just knew that they had the heavenly calling. It's that simple!

What a month the best August ever, no the best month of my life.......

Did the lot, holiday in a wonderfull island in the med, sun sea booze the whole lot!

I'm looking forward to september now what great things will it bring? Life is great, no wonderfull, fantastic.......

I only hope all you other members have such a great time this month, and the next and the next....

Crappy Jobs???

thanks to the policies of j-dud central a lot of people have less than satisfying jobs.

i am one of the fortunate few who loves what he does.

i work for the rich and famous and get to travel a lot.

My last job when I was a J-Dub was a crappy job, but now I have a great JOB no thanks to the WT. it's great to be fulfilled and happy now, not having to worry about rushing home to get ready and go to a very mundane and boring meeting to be counselled again for not doing enough. You never did enough and the end was next week of course.

I feel for all those millions who continue to put of living, because Armageddon is coming now, very soon, straight ahead. Can't be far away now.

This is a good study and I welcome it, I have always held that a good "flushing out" is good for men (and boys). I do still believe that morality and following a morale standard is important. But I have always felt that the WT goes beyond itself with medical advice, look back at all the quack medicine it promoted.

On masturbation (self abuse WT speak) it does not lead to Homosexuality (see youth book) nor make you blind. It does not make you neither a sexual pervert nor does it make you more of a sexual person, we are naturally sexual, and have the desire to be sexual, this is very normal. What I support is to get to know what your own feelings are and really understand yourself. Maybe sexual perverts masturbate excessively or not I don't know. What we can do as individuals is to know what is right and wrong sexually (who sets the standard?).

Being a Jehovah's Witness for many years up till now I had many guilt feelings along with worthlessness and being undeserving of Gods kindness (grace) everything being either wrong or right being told what is best and what is not good or to be avoided. Now that I have grown up (as free thinker) I look at everything with a critical view and decide whether or not to accept it or reject it on my own intelligence. I now no longer feel guilt about anything at all, maybe I feel remorseful or take the view of "well I did that but I was wrong" and move on.

I look forward to the WT's reporting of this medical theory!

Maybe Prostate cancer needs more attention as too many men are suffering and dying from this dreadful illness, I say look after your Prostate.
