some time back i bought my kid an old retro computer.

Tell her the only way she can truly be safe is to strip naked and run thru the neighborhood proclaiming at the top of her voice..."Jehovah is good, Demuz are bad!" Check the now defunct House Un-American Activities Committee. I did a report in high school on the Committee and their findings on different groups. If I remember correctly they put Dubbies in the same grouping as John Birch members...not important...non-violent...not worthy of taking seriously. I think they called the Birchers a group made up of "little old ladies in tennis shoes."

well, i just finished reading marley cole's "jehovah's witnesses - the new world society" book from 1955. i'll provide a few quotes to introduce it in case you aren't familiar with the book.
ray franz in crisis of conscience, p74, 2004 hc edition: cole wrote the book as if he were a non-witness writing an objective account.
the idea was that by having the book published by an outside publishing firm it might reach persons who normally would not take society literature.
