We taped it about a week ago and my mom went into the hospital 3 days ago. It's serious but I think she's going to make it. It's been kind of touch and go. I'll know tomorrow after some more tests.

I was going to give copies of the video to her (Jessica) workmates but have reconsidered. I may tell them about the link otherwise I might be liable for some kind of legal action. I'm lucky...yes LUCKY to have an Ex-CO in my town who is an attorney. I will meet and ask him about any possible liabilities.

Grandma kind of looks like she's reading a cue card with her eyes moving back and forth, but this is all off the cuff. I should have put dark glasses on her for a Ray Charles effect.

Anyway, hope you like it and we all know it will not do a damn bit of good with my daughter but dammit it's time to be pro-active and stop letting them crap all over us. It's a small step but at least it makes my mom (and me) feel better.

Thank you Flipper and everyone for your support. I am lucky enough to have a "former" circuit overseer in my neighborhood who is an attorney. I shall ask him if it's ok (legal) to approach my daughters co-workers with the video. Whether it is or not it will be on YouTube and I will supply the link to everyone. My mom (93) is all in favor of this and wants it done soon...so looking at maybe next week.

minding my own business while pumping gas - this 60 year old short jw lady with fluffed bun styled 60's hair and her 30 year old attractive 5 ' 10 inch jw lady partner came straight up to me as i'm pumping.

they picked the wrong hombre .

Ok, I'm going to be busy for awhile but will answer your comments tonight (or late aft). I will take a moment to clear up a couple of things.

If we follow WTBS rules my daughter has no reason for not talking to me. Her G'ma and brother both DA'd so yeah she's supposed to treat them like dog crap. I am not DA'd, DF'd or anything as I was never baptized. Yes I was born and raised in the cult, was in NY for the '58 assembly and did all the stuff a good little Dubbie does growing up. However, my Dad, who was an elder, never pushed me to baptism...always said I'd know when the time was right. It never was right.

I always had reservations but I also felt they had the "truth"...I just wasn't strong enough to practice it. I always supported it but kept my distance...and that was hard while studying with just about every elder on the planet. Why did they put up with me? I produced a successful TV show that aired around the country and was syndicated in 11 other countries...and I knew my Ex was plopping some pretty big donations into the pot.

So, never being baptized means she should have some association with me...except for the fact that I have been vocal as to my opposition to the cult. I have put up posters and talked to church ministers about educating their flocks against this corrupt group...so it's prob gotten back to her.

After my Mom and Dad DA'd (because of child & UN issues) my Dad tried to get her to come to a studio for a family portrait. She told them, and I quote, "I will come for the picture but I will not speak to any of you. I will leave immediately after the portrait." When she got married to ittle boy elder she sent them an invitation telling them they could come "watch the ceremony but you can not come to the reception." I also got that "invite" plus she would not allow me to walk her down the aisle.

She ignores our phone calls or hangs up. She has never responded to any letters that have been sent to her.

I think she has done enough to all of her family to finally receive some of her own medicine.

And in fact, this video will be not only for her from her G'ma, but also for the people around her who may believe that Jehovah's Witnesses are fine upstanding people, people who care for their family. It's time for the TRUTH about JW's to be told and if it makes them think a little less of her...so be it...maybe she'll think because nothing else has worked.

Thank you Clarity and everyone for the support. Believe me, I've thought a great deal about this. Everything else we can think of has been tried. I truly believe she will drink the kool aid when they tell her. If I don't do this then I will not have tried everything to get her to wake up.

No one can really accuse me of being vengeful in the video as it's just my little ol' 93 year old mom speaking from the heart...wanting to see her granddaughter once more before she dies. Maybe I should tell her to act like an adult Ginger.

As for distributing it to her co-workers (worldlies), I think they should know how a cult really operates and how a cult manipulates its followers into doing dispicable things while acting so righteous to everyone else.

Ginger...of course according to you she has a right to treat people with disdain and outright hate. Not returning calls from her G'ma. Hanging up on her. Shunning her. Shunning her brother. Shunning me. I never did anything to her but love her and give her a great life.

But to give her some of her own medicine would be bad?

Why should she be able to get away with such disgusting acts of hate? Actually she has gotten away with it for years. We've all turned our cheeks and there are no more cheeks left.

This not a knee-jerk reaction. It's been a long time coming. I'm probably most pissed for the way she's treated her G'ma. Her and my Dad helped raise both kids as my wife and I were building our business. My mom and dad both left not too long after me. Both were 50-year members and upset with the child molestation and the U.N. fiasco. My daughter married a young dubbie who has climbed the ladder to elder. So her and her husband are moving on up, with parts on the assemblies and carry much status in the cong. They are young mover and shakers...very impressed with themselves.

I have tried to talk to her in the past. She never had time to discuss anything. I also sent her a letter telling her I will always love her. No reply.

It's time to spank her!

I’ve been around this board for quite awhile. It has helped immensely. Lately I just read everyone else’s experiences and try and forget the whole nightmare…but I can’t. Certain things trigger emotions. I don’t give a damn about the phony baloney “friends” who shun me… but they control my one and only daughter.

I gave her a good life. She got almost everything she wanted. The first car we got her was a 1966 Lincoln Continental with suicide doors…beautiful car…great for service. She loved it and we knew she couldn’t go too far at 9-11 mpg. When I divorced her embezzling mother (we owned our own business) she and her mother stayed in the cult. My son and I left.

Since then she has shunned her brother, myself and her 93 year-old grandmother. When her G’ma calls her she does not answer or hangs up on her if she forgets to screen and picks up. We have not spoken to her in 9 years even though she lives a couple of miles away. The other day was the proverbial straw that broke it.

I was with my friend in a Walfart checkout line. Just as we’re ready to walk out I happen to look around and see her in the next line over. I had no idea she was there but when I glance her way she does the ol’ looking away thing.

Now, she works at a local elementary school and I’m sure all her workmates think she’s maybe a little reserved but Oh such a nice person. You know how we were to treat worldly people with gloves on…be very nice to them…politely decline any invitations to get to know them better because you certainly don’t want big J catching you with them on A-Day. So people just think J-Dubs are super honest and nice but never learn about the real truth…shunning family, etc.

So…we’re making a short little video. It features my sweet little (4’8”) hump-backed 93-year old mom (her G’ma). In it we show G’ma walking up to her rocking chair with her cane and sitting down. Then she looks at the camera and basically pleads for her only granddaughter to call her or come by (remember it’s just a couple of miles). She would like to see her before she dies or goes blind. At the end we’ll have a screen that talks about how J-Dubs say they don’t shun or break up families…but are liars!

This video will go on YouTube and be distributed to all of her workmates.

People may say, OMG you’ll lose her forever. Get real people! I/we have already lost her to the cult. It is time to be proactive and let her know that she cannot treat people who love her like this and get away with it.

ever had an out-of-body experience?

once in a while, usually in the morning shortly after waking up, i find my "body" lifting up from my physical body, but i remain attached at the head.

it's a very pleasant experience but i wish i could totally separate from the physical body so i could go exploring.

this happened this morning again.. .
