Update on stuff - mum's had a fourth stroke
by acsot infor those of you who know me and may have wondered if i fell off the planet, this is what?s been happening.
since july 4th mum has suffered two other strokes, so that makes four in total within in a year and a half.
life has been pretty much work - hospital - home.

I agree that the borg has had to at least give the appearance of hiding their distaste for higher education, but, as most everyone here has already pointed out, it's not for real...it is only a facade. To prove it, just go to your body of elders and ask them to sit down with you and go over your career options and maybe help you with your class schedule...HAHAHAHAHAHAHA..gag.

Officially Disassociated Tonight
by Princess insteve and i attended our very last meeting this evening.
i wrote a thread a few weeks ago about our elder visit and their decision to announce that we were disassociated.
they agreed to wait until we returned from our vacation so i could tell my grandma who still attends via phone link and so she wouldn't have to be alone in her devastation.

physical, emotional and mental abuse has been purpetrated upon my kids for eight years now.
they have been victims of alcoholism, verbal bashings and they have been made to watch their stepfather beat the hell out of their mother and then be halled off to jail without saying a word to anyone for fear fo reprisal from him and their mother.

Why do they publish the Awake magazine?

i never understood why they published the "awake magazine".
the watchtower magazine is all they need for their study.. i think the awake magazine is more of a bait to catch innocent people door to door, with their scientific and medical stories.

Preaching Doom and Gloom in October?
by Sassy inmy ex husband (who is dfd but not a professsed apostate) told me yesterday that in october there is going to be a big push for preaching doom in service.. like the last chance to get people in before the end.. .
has anyone else heard this?.
i assume either his brother who is a dub or his mother have passed this on to him, in order to scare him to come back quick before everyone dies.. .

Well the message is about 2+ mins long...and says the seminar will discuss several topics...history, doctrines, mind control, business, and ?? Anyway, they say religion will not be discussed, I guess nothing pushed on the attendees. They seem to be targeting active witnesses...Lotsa' Luck! Their email address is...(if I got it right).... upperroomministries.juno.com . They have a web address but did not get it. I may call 'em again later. Sounds interesting...wish there was something like that in No CA but I really doubt it's gonna draw any of the faithful to it.
