  a governing body that is suppose to be god's channel on earth and led by jehovah's holy spirit could not even change jw dogma even though the majority of those present voted for change.

  there had to be a 2/3's vote of the total gb membership.

  I got a letter similar to that. basically she said that when I complain on facebook that the school receptionist who is a JW yelled at my daughter and made her cry, that I am making the witnesses llok bad. hmmm I thought that the school receptionist made herself look bad. I just made a comment about it.

  i also thought it was interested they would say "type the phrase "end of the world" and the year "2012" into one popular internet search engine".

  i was thinking it would be funny to have some out there.

  such as instead of "paperboy", could make "watchtowerboy", flinging watchtowers at people, etc.

  how about a game where the goal is to have the longest skirt at the hall. You have to do all the right things to gain skirt length. extra study hours, extra feild service hours, don't ride in a car alone with a brother.

  I was born in so I seriously thought that god was going to kill me if I wasn't a jw.

  But I was 34 before my light finally came on... And yes I was embarrassed. I now work at a different place than I did when I was a jw. so now I don't have to tell my coworkers that I was a jw. That feels good.

  this was posted in the men's room stall, i hear the instructions in the womens room was more detailed.. this was in addition to having a "bathroom attendant" handing out 1 paper towel per person.. i haven't felt so childish since i was in grade schooll, i had to wonder if all the tall people around me were really grown men and women.. .
