these guys all have to be of the 'annointed' but jws say the calling to be of this class ended in 1935. whats with these very young new members?.

Yeah I noticed one the guys that Blondie posted is right at 100 years old. I'm a little confused since they have these different corps. now, who is really making the decisions the GB or one of the different corporations?

I worked in the kitchen at a quick build one time. My main goal going there though was to find some well built brother who knew how to swing a hammer to hook up with... lol That didn't pan out but it was fun getting to see the good looking bros in tank tops.

The magazines...
by El blanko ina friend of mine who is disfellowshipped wonders whether it is wtbts policy to let him have the magazines still and frankly, i can't remember.
i told him that i believe it is their policy not to let him have the mags, but i'm not actually that sure.
any ideas you clever people?

it didn't matter whether they were elders, pioneers, old ones, young ones, new ones----everyone!
he would even incorporate that question in his comments at the meetings!.......good question that no one seemed to want to answer.

Garage sales
by poppers infrom reading this site i've learned that jws frown up buying used clothing etc.
from second hand stores because of possible 'demonization.
' my neighbors are jw and i notice that they have fairly frequent garage sales.

There are some JWs that fly under the radar and have enough sense not to take everything sooo seriously. Then there are others who are just plain wacko. Like the sister whose son was having a nose bleed out in service and he said "oh the blood is running down the back of my throat" the mother said "well don't swallow it. You know how Jehovah feels about blood".

Shania : man those people must have had a lot of gall to say the clothes were demonized. that's just down right rude.
This thread reminded me of this story: I went to a witness school. One of the familys that went there was poor. (we weren't rich) Well the girl that went there stole my coat from me. My mother was talking to one the school officials about it and we were told that the other girl needed it more than me. too bad my coat wasn't demonized i would have gotten it back....lmbo
