Have you heard of the saying "he does protest too much"
Means that the less fact to back up your story the more you defend the story.
i'm not only talking about our former religion, but all faiths.
members will defend their faith, some very stubbornly no matter what evidence is shown to them, even if it's from the bible.
many a time they only want it to be seen their way and won't allow for another interpretation.. does it stem from the fact that they are scared about being wrong?

I hear members of the Governing Body can be pretty spritely up to a right old age
I certainly don't think Mouthy wants a man that she has to train and whip his thinking into shape. Lets look for one already trained.
when i was growing up in the borg i didn't see much in the way of craftmaking except for a few who knew how to sew.
no one that i knew at any of the halls i went to knitted or crocheted or tatted or did much in the needle arts other than sewing.
i was introduced to knitting by a "worldly" woman who was my brother's nurse.. maybe this is just something i noticed and is limited to my borg experience.. josie.
What did your father say about his gift?
Well my father is 79 years old. My husband said I should make one for my dad. Well that was all the encouragement I needed. I gave him the scarf I made him first he liked that. Then he read the poem for the willie warmer. he didn't even take it out of the gift bag. but his wife read the poem and said I'll be sure he wears it. LMBO
6 months ago my dad told he can't take nitrates for his chest pain because it would interfere with the viagra he takes. I was thinking TMI dad.

don't know if it has been mentioned already on the board,.
scientists are thinking of naming that new disquieting sort of cloud asperatus.. a foresight of armageddon.
I saw some of these on my way out of walmart tonight.
i love to find bargains.
good quality items/products at very low prices.
my idea about decorating is "looks expensive: costs a dime.
I love thrift stores. We only have three in town here. DAV, Goodwill and Salvation army. I usually vist them 3 times a week.
Some things I sell on ebay. I got a carrom board for $4.00 sold it for $30 on ebay. I recently got a cast iron egg poacher and a corn bread cast iron skillet that sell for $35, I paid $8. I got a bandu game ( its like jenga but the pieces are different shapes) I got it for $3 and it sells for $30 on ebay because milton bradley doesn't make the game anymore.
What I like do to is get mugs for my daughters teachers, usually with a teacher theme. When teacher appreciation week rolls around I fill a plastic bag with their favorite candy and bingo I have a teacher appreciation gift.
just this week I got a purse for $2.00. Brand new not a mark on it. I just love it, it's so cute.
I also have gotten lots of yarn and knitting needles at great prices. Last year I found a weave-it loom. it was popular in the 40's and 50's. i got two of them for $2.00. they sell on ebay for over $40.00 each. I cant decide if I want to keep it or sell it.
can anyone spare a moment to assist me with a video i am making?
i am attempting to put some visuals with an audio clip i have from the current district convention.. i need:.
images of jws/"bible students" holding signs or wearing sandwich boards that say things like "religion is a snare and a racket".
My mom has one of my sister when she was four yrs old wearing a sandwich board. I don't have it otherwise I would post it. My sister is now 59.

My mom taught both of her daughters to knit. She used to make baby quilts for the baby's in the hall.
I never learned to knit as a kid, I was always told oh it's to hard to knit. but I learned about 4 years ago when my daughter wanted help in reading the instructions on her kids knitting kit.
I love to make stuff. Have you seen the pattern for willie warmers?
