  do you think a married woman should go out provocatively dressed?

  some of my friends accept it some don't and one had big arguments with his wife about the issue until the time when he cunningly got her to become overweight something that spoilt her good looks.

  think of it, a married woman going out wearing tight shorts showing so much leg and buttocks and a top that reveals too much breast, as if almost saying "i am going out to entice some men", should a dignified husband accept that?

  Whyamihere-------I don't think you are being entirely truthful. I think you do like to show off and I think you DO like attention. I also think that that is part of your personality and there is NOTHING wrong with that. You put several pictures up on this forum of your trip to Vegas. You looked great! But come on------you enjoyed the attention that you got from that. I think, that whether you are married or single, attention for looking good, feels good! The more I think about this question, How much should a married woman show?, the more anoyed I get. If my partner didn't like what I was wearing, we would need to discuss it. If it is a control isssue......well.......then......bye ....bye.

  LDH-------your comment was a little intense for me! Are you saying you never look in the mirror, give yourself a little wink, and say, DAMN-----I feel and look good today!

  There is a big difference between walking out the door with confidence, knowing you will receive attention and inviting RAPE! Are you an extremist or just sensitive today!

  HMMMMMMMMMMMM.....you got me! Now I have to think! I do know that there are times I dress a certain way and I receive more attention. Sometimes it is planned and sometimes it is not. It could be the way I walk in this world. If I am not feeling good about myself, I tend to keep my head down. If I am feeling good about myself, my head is up, I have a smile, therefore I receive more attention. I can consciously leave the house knowing and wanting a little attention. Either by the openness of attitude or my dress.

  I could be wrong......but my point came no where near the direction of RAPE! IMO

  If a woman walks out the door, married or not, and is dressed in such a way as to invite attention, she is doing this for a REASON! If a woman is single, the answer is SIMPLE, she wants and needs attention and may be looking for a partner. If she is married, it could be COMPLEX and worth a discussion.

  I'm just wondering if Ray Franz has ever discussed this subject? Did he have a savings account full of money coming from the "green handshake"? Where are his riches? He mentioned the perks of world travel in his book CoC, but to my knowledge, he never said anything about money being handed his way on a regular basis.

  i cant help but think of the analogy of pendulum swings when i think about how vitriolic some are towards religion (of any description), the bible (and other scripture), and christianity (generally, regardless of there being a wide range of denominational flavours) in particular.. it seems to me, from my perspective of sitting here on a remote scottish island, that there are a fair number of folks who may have left an intolerant and generalising religion but forgot to leave those attitudes with it.. just my 2p, coz to be frank i'm getting sick of it.. by all means enjoy some self-expression, it's a relatively free planet, but have a heart....
