i recieved a phone call last night from a brother who i was able to verify was of the anointed.

he stated he represented a large group of anointed from within the organization and they wanted to send me a letter.

I believe the point was missed that Bill said he "verified" the caller is of the annointed. Elders, especially ones such as those who have been Presiding Overseers and Secretaries, know the selective jargon and the whole bit.

Now as to Free Christians, FCs are simply any individual or group that champions freedom of expression as granted at Romans 14:1-5, unity by love (Col 4:14), and the Christian basics of Hebrews 6:1-2.

Beyond those basics any Christian in the movement (it's a movement not a hierarchy of officials), has freedom to differ though most (not all) do believe God (Jah/Jehovah/Yah/Yahweh) resurrects some on earth and others to serve from heaven. Groups can appoint or otherwise select servants but the only Leader over all is Jehovah's Christ.

It would be appreciated if no one attempted to scapgoat by name any group including the "Active Christians of Jah" who are simply one group among the rest. If you want to be fair, see the website:

Once the pedophilia documentary airs it would not be surprising at all if many who have been declared to be of the annointed do publicly censure Henschel and his men including by a signed petition that will be widely circulated.

In any power play between such, Milton Henschel's backers will lose a lot if not the whole ball of wax. Yes, rampant homosexuality and pedophilia in Brooklyn are still another major concern among the annointed faithful and has been so for ages now.

I think of a young man who was barely at Bethel before coming back, who tried talking to his folks who refused to listen and he only got disfellowshipped. And an annointed brother who described the same and is in his 40's and received severe discipline to the point of being forced to deny being of the annointed though his hope was truly for service in heaven.

Without merit such people have been smeared. On another thread it's coming out yet again that the misleadership secretly reinstated its unscriptural positions on married couples' sexuality.

What they don't note is in certain halls' elders "expel" by jabbing fingers into such married persons as if evil even while they hide the dark secret of pedophiles in their own halls. Purity? Justice?
The expulsion tactic is dirtier than official disfellowshipping because so truly backstabbing.

The elders know "everything," oh my, I think not. Run a mike through our bedrooms and you still know nothing when your mind is chained to doing whatever the all-seeing eye atop the Tower tells you you know. Especially during Henschel's tenure and the beating goes on to this second.

And to whoever had that cat picture and said it seemed odd Bill got a call and the next day the letter, the called could well have known the letter was about to come in to Bill the next day. Games, Bill, they do play.

Lack of repentance by Henschel and company insures this. I'm here to tell you YES, there will be a schism. And it won't take 8,000 annointed to have it happen either. I do not know who they all are but but some will step forward to try to restore the tarred name of our grand heavenly Father.

The big question is this: do True Faith Jehovah's Witnesses permit blood transfusions to save life?

That they don't care for certain dances or jewelry is no worse than for some Pentecostals. And it is true the Watchtower does not want opposition groups to exist successfully which use the name Jehovah and preach paradise earth as well as heavenly resurrection.

But, again, the big question is do they allow transfusions of blood to save human lives? Their website does not say and emails sent to them do not receive a direct answer. If you or other readers know for certain, please tell us now.

Bill has also received at least one harassing letter through the U.S. postal service. Further, virtually every move he makes while in kingdom hall is monitored including when he goes to the bathroom. His own mother and father were even directed by an official Watchtower Society film crew to participate in making a movie painting him as either a liar or mentally delusioned even though your own written documents absolutely prove that what he has publicised is the raw Truth. These are all solidly provable facts.

This is also fact. Free Christians are now in possession of hundreds of emails of persons living in Brooklyn and its vicinity who can be informed by the click of a switch about what has occured. We also have emails for some who are seated in the Cafeteria with you at Brooklyn Bethel, so that in a manner of speaking we can send them right down your chimney. We also have accumulated hundreds of emails for members of the print and broadcast media community and so can quickly post the information of what is done to Bill on guestbooks, discussionboards, forums in general all over the internet and in multiple languages.

We encourage you to not only urge everyone you possibly can to leave this man and his family alone but to do all in your power to encourage members of his local congregation to visibly treat him better, such that it will be clearly noticeable to himself so that he can report it on this board in future postings. You also need to inform his father, Bill Bowen Sr who has eldered in Arkansas but also in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, of every word we are saying here. Also inform other regional elders such as Steve Sundstrom. ***

We believe that demonstrable efforts to also intimidate other Friends have happily decreased at least thus far, possibly because you were well adviced that we had email informational capability ready for the broad areas in which those persons reside or attend kingdom hall. We shall continue to retain emails for residents in communities where some of our Jehovah's Witness children and others in the communities were molested in for example Nevada, Missouri and Maine.
Nor should any further efforts be made to try to thwart the efforts of Dateline NBC investigative reporters or otherwise seek to stop or delay the documentary on this Watchtower-sponsored coverup problem from being aired and aired in timely fashion. However be advised that even if that were to occur we not only have access to the afore-noted emails but would work to see that the information was also fed out via church groups worldwide. Believe us your former (and in some case current) associates do indeed have such capability. It's been as simple as using Search Boxes in email directories on the internet and yes at Bethel too.

Now in case this still isn't clear to you. The intimidation needs to end. Your coverup policy will be exposed one way or the other, and everytime some additional injury is heaped against Bill, that too will be duly noted. We have a right to exercise freedom of speech and will do just that to the extent needed. If you were smarter you'd give those who brought you to this dilemna the axe of disfellowshipment rather than compounding your problem. Trying to play the iron rod hidden in a glove of velvet is now at an end. Other things can and will come out if and as needed including the privacy issue. ***

Silentlambs and Signifiers that Signify Nothing

call me a neopositivist, a semi-verificationist or semi-falsificationist, but the claims made by "silentlambs" reminds me of the shakespearean line that was quoted in the creator book published by the wtbts.

that is, the contentions of silentlambs seem like much "sound and fury" that in truth signify nothing.

i am of course referring to the supposed dateline show and the claims made about some members of the gb of jehovah's witnesses.

And let me add.... Dunscot you know good and well that Silentlambs did not say if those particular Governing Body were ever pedophile or not. You read that into his saying that they all had "something" in common. For all you know, Dunscot, he meant they there have been stories told about them being against sex period. Who knows. Just don't try to put words into people's mouths.

But as a matter of fact, yes, some of us have heard some things about Sydlik for example. Now what are those things? He has held great power over Bethelites though some of the guys there have been especially warm toward him, normally seems amiable and just a good-old-boy friendly joking type of guy but in private is sometimes extremely rude with blistering word attacks when his mightiness is interrupted, and some have had big questions about his marriage to a somewhat younger sister for reasons no one is going to go into details about, not here anyways.

Now, Dun, will you misinterpret that either? Stop jumping to conclusions, dude. Let Dateline have its say. I think we're all aware the Watchtower would like to know as soon as possible when the show is to air....let them whistle in the wind till the last second.
I say let's don't tell them what they want. Ouch, ouch, ouch!

P.S. But then maybe you're right, maybe certain things have been found out and will be aired. Whatever "certain" might also mean :) Should be a verrrrrrrrry interesting t.v. show!

The headquarters is in Rumania but Russia, Hungary etc also have members of Truth Faith JWs. If you'll actually take time to read the items of the website you'll see this is so for it speaks of resolutions by delegations from the other nations as well. TFJWs have already been to America and you and the Watchtower will hear more of them.

they are in the initial stages of examining the blood issue and that of enforced shunning and its consequences, in the light of human rights issues globally.

Zev, not only do all major businesses keep files on their employes but also William Schnell, a Watchtower zone and district overseer back in Rutherford's days, wrote in his now out-of-print Thirty Years A Watchtower Slave that Rutherford had a file on him and maybe other top overseers. Also go to the Human Resources section of any major corporation and ask if they don't keep personnel files regarding things like each employe's assignments, performance evaluations, disciplinary infractions and the like.

Ray Franz said in one of his books the Watchtower had judicial files on members stored in the basement, including of those who were dead.

Alan, you need to talk to Dr. Jerry Bergman. When he was at Bethel he worked in the basement library and had access to correspondence which he said was between Fred Franz and Dr. Goodspeed of Chicago with whom Franz consulted about his translation work.

I seriously doubt Goodspeed would have approved of Franz's renderings of some sections but he was consulted. And common sense says that Fred Franz consulted where necessary with non-committee persons about Koine Greek sections as well.

Yes, Fred Franz was behind a lot of the stupid nonsense going on to this second in the tumbling old Tower, especially the basement and tunnels areas. But you'd do a bigger favor if you'd tell more about the Schroeders, Sydlik, Barber, Jarasc, Henschel and company.

Fred's dead. His vision of the Watchtower is hurtling down the same pathway. Stunned, too many dark secrets hitting the light. Sex, invasions of privacy, you name it.

Someone asked why the Watchtower heads don't just admit they do wrong keeping their policy enabling pedophiles.

It's because some of them have been pedophiles like Leo Greenlees was and never disfellowshipped for it.

In fact some of the guys in their now don't need to be there either.

Not to change the subject, but what if Dateline didn't air the story? Does anyone really think the mess would vanish? Fat chance.

I hope they dig into the backgrounds of all the Governing Body especially Sydlik and Barber.

I know a fellow who just went up to Bethel and was there just a month or two before coming back home. He must have told mom and dad some things they refused to believe. He was disfellowshipped which suit him fine. Parents would prefer to believe in the Almighty org than their own kid.

I knew another guy who told about discovering other Bethelites doing sodomy in one of the bathrooms up there. His wife just wouldn't believe it and she divorced him though they had a baby. Since then she's divorced her second husband too. I guess he isn't enough of a Watchtower man for her either.

There's so many cans of worms. Every guy on the Governing Body knows there's a file full of dirt on him. So why ask Why don't they say their policy is wrong and promise to do better?

Sounds easy. Imagine being in the organization 20-80 years, seeing its darkness suddenly and being upset over it but scared if you left them nobody would employ you, feed you, you'd be called a traitor, get crank calls and letters, smear your good name with whatever lies and half truths they've written up on you.

I too hope Dateline blows the lid on these things. Then men who've been with the org 20-80 and quit it will be seen as just doing what they should, and nobody would believe the rot told about them.

The way you tell if you're talking to a real Circuit or District Overseer is the same as how you tell if you talk to a real local Presiding Overseer. To reveal who they are they mark their conversations with verbal oddities, key words and some insider remarks.

If you call Brooklyn count on your phone call being recorded. If you tell an elder boo or pray something in your bedroom count on it being heard too. They really get their jollies out of listening to the boy and girl talk. "We must keep the congregations clean, after all, mustn't we" rot.

Christmas Star = Satan?!

i was talking with my husband the other day about the jw's belief that the "christmas star" that guided the magi to christ was the doings of satan.

he didn't believe me; this is what i found in the "my book of bible stories" (copied verbatim from cd-rom).

Here's why the Watchtower Society blew it yet again:

"Many Christmas trees are topped by a star remindful of the Christ star. According to John Mosley's The Christmas Star (1985) from September 3 BC to June 2 BC Jupiter, known as "the royal planet" passed Regulus "the king star" in the constellation Leo, reversed then passed again, turned and passed a third time. By June 17 Jupiter and Regulus were so close they seemed a single star when seen by the eye. This then is one intriguing possible source for the Christ star in the Bible.

Now prior to Christ's birth an unspecified number of men called the "magi" in Biblical Greek came from the East first to Jerusalem (Mt 2:1-2) then went on to find the Christ child in Bethlehem. Some translations render the word magi as astrologers because its root like the word "magician" is linked to the idea of being a person of great might. However even though magi may refer to people who tried to predict the future by observing the stars, using omens and consulting spirit beings in opposition to the prohibition against spiritism at Deuteronomy 18:10-12, it can also refer to people who worked to predict future weather patterns, good times to plant and harvest, buy and sell crops, etc via careful observation of the clouds, stars and other natural phenomena and with very little to absolutely no special focus on the occult.

Indeed it wuld be illogical to think that the Bible speaks well of or even in neutral tones of the magi if spiritistic persons had come to visit the Christ child, and so with solid reason excellent Bible translations continue to translate the magi as simply "the wise men" or even "stargazers." Again, this is because many magi were more like a combination of modern weather forecasters and astronomers than persons devoted to promoting the occult as also proved when the Bible in positive tones record that they brought gifts for Christ and then also protected him by leaving without telling his location to King Herod who wickedly desired to slay him. Therefore, many in no wise see it as improper to enact or enjoy nativity scenes that commemorate the good deeds of the "wise men." "

in the past hotmail was said to provide the most thorough anonymity while msn email left more readily detectable tracks to originator.

So is the anonymity of the MSN-Hotmail accounts now greatly, or partly or even fully cut out? Even the front page of the accounts makes it clear as of late today that MSN is now in charge.
