phone convo with mum, help with research
by heretic inwell another convo with mum and i absolutely cornered her on the 'your dedicated to jehovah not the religion' point (thanks all for info) i said ' did you research what we talked about' she said 'jehovah helped me out as usual it was in the watchtower that weekend' i said 'read it to me' after looking for as few minutes she says ' here it is' me-'allright' her 'in the box' me-'gimme the box' she reads quetion #1 before shes finished i say beautiful ive got no problem with that now gimme question #2, she reads it,,, i said where the hell does organisation fit into that sentence?
its a verbal contract so they can diss you if you ever leave regardless of you relationship with jehovah.
she gets flustered, epecially when my stepdad is in the background agreeing with me, she puts me onto stepdad, (ill say they are both great just mind controlled) he agrees its a valid point, i said i dont agree with the influence the org has over peoples lives, i brought up that higher education is frowned upon and people are not educating themselves because of that and he said it was only if an elder gave a talk and put his own spin on it that that would be classed as a rule (classic argument putting people in front of the org i call it the human sheild tactic), he pretty much said the society has never printed anything to his knowledge saying that but he'll research it and i said id do the same so i need help.

by heretic inwell i had a phone convo this morning with my mum whos lovely but tried to steer the conversation to jws again.. she said i dedicated my life to jehovah and not the wts, well ive got all of sick of lies commities on my ipod and have been listening to them as i commute and while at work, i know em word for word almost.
and when the 'no nice way to leave, wheres my contract' section came up the elder said 'you did have a contract', basically saying that when you say yes to the 2 quetions you enter a verbal contract, the elder said 'the question (to the effect of) do you dedicate your life to jehovah and his earthly spirit directed organisation.
with this in mind i told my mum (mom for the yanks) the above and she disagreed.

SOO.. can anyone tell me word for word what the questions are, it goes something like- Question 1.... pause... question 2 ... pause then 'your loud affirmative answers prove you are wready and willing blah blah blah' does saying this at the end make it a verbal contract like its your time too speak up if you object. hmm this is interesting like sick of lies said 'what if i dont remember does that nullify it' love your work SOL you did great. I think youll be famous in the apostate community for a long time, who knows maybe youll start a trend.

well i explained the un thing and quotes website and i have a problem with those things and if it could be sorted out id come back.
at one stage of the conversation it almost got heated (which is understandable as its a touchy subject for anyone who still beleives)

yep cheers sng, Ive got all that stuff printed out with the statements from the wts etc. my plan is to have only the UN issue as a 'problem' im having when asked why im not making steps back, I say im having trouble with it & if they can give me an explanation please. Im too lazy to research everything on 607, silent lambs etc so i wont go around every topic like a typical apostate, just got this point down and it can start the fire for them to find out themselves as my friend seems to be doing, ill let him find all the other stuff on his own. I dont know how my tactic will fare ill keep everyone posted i guess I might become known as an apostate and the shit will hit the fan I had an interesting talk to my mum this morning ill post it on another thread.

yeah, well they are both unbaptised, they got married to try to work towards it but it never eventuated.
the very best thing about this is that 1. he has never been on apostate websites or talked with apostates in fact he would hate them. so when he gets quized about it he will be honestly say 'no' ,and he'll see how theyre trying to corner and label him. put him in a category
2. he is still quite young (early 20s) so theyll try to encourage him and have to listen to what he says, they have no reason not to.
3. he has been guilt tripped his whole life and its affected him, the feelings of unworthiness have been pushed on by his mother using literature to make him feel like shit (his wife wishes she never heard of the troof cos 'ignorance was bliss') so now the shoe is on the other foot hes gonna go at them and will not stop..
YES!!! i just sit back and watch the fireworks.

a freind of mine who doesnt go to meetings and his wife (but the troof has a firm grip on their thinking) were quizing me on why i dont make my way back to the meetings. well i explained the UN thing and quotes website and i have a problem with those things and if it could be sorted out id come back. at one stage of the conversation it almost got heated (which is understandable as its a touchy subject for anyone who still beleives) So ANYWAY.. i stayed at their house last night and while with his wife we got to talking about the troof (it always has a habit of coming up in conversation>hmmm) I wanted to make sure she didnt go telling everyone i was saying things about the wts because an apostate tag is something id like to hold off on. and after our convo the previous time I thought it was no use with them the walls were up, which was getting me down as were all really good lifelong frends and i thought they would cut me off too, then.. she went on to explain to me how her hubby (25yo) was at his very overbearing and guilt tripping witness mothers house and his witness sister and her husband were there and he brought it up!, and demanded an explaination!! at one point saying the words (in heated tone) "I want to know, i want an explaination, the bible says be no part of the world!" apparently the mother kept saying "who told you this" "have you been on websites" the reply, "doesnt matter i want an explanation" she said the mother is talking to the elders about it. so i guess it wont be long til i get dragged in on this but im glad its this way and not because someone just said "oh joshs been saying things about the witnesses"... ahh im so proud of my buddy Oh and side point i had a nice shunning the other day 630am at the train station a guy handing out watchtowers gave me the nose in the air/ turn the shoulder treatment. man being dfd is a pain in the arse
