  joke - chris rock - "when i was growing up i thought that the jw's were the meanest toughest gang in the world, because every time my family saw them coming down the street, my parents would say 'run hide, its the jehovah's witnesses' and we would all hit the floor.

  my dad informed me that when brothers give talks on stage it is not the brother speaking to us,.

  it is jehovah speaking to us.

  i had forgot about this teaching (wonder if they have this in print) .

  I hope he does know of a case with the WT 'going down', I also know of a case with that potential I dont want to spill it here I dont want to jeopadise it. As for the page, if his intentions are good then I personally dont have a prob with it. Its a setup most exjws would be familiar with and as simon has pointed out the real purpose of this site is for newbies so it might be a place all the heavyweights and (self professed) intillectual giants can go bananas without scaring the innocents.

  anyway im going for another beer its friday 530pm and im at work bout to knock off (even though Im on my way). Cheers.. clink!

  london has recovered but i'm sure they still feel so much pain.

  Yep it was this time last year that i was working in central london when they went off (i guess allah missed me). it was thursday, I took friday off and went by train to englishmans bbq on the saturday hoping these apostates id heard so much about werent deterred. The place looked quiet from the front, on entering I heard a few voices, as i got to the back i was greeted with a yard choc a bloc with heathenistic spawns of satan, ahh a great day followed.

  why should orientation affect my self-respect?.

  the london free press, july 3, 2006. pride could be defined as having a sense of one's own proper dignity or value; self-respect.

  i recently was reminded of my own journey towards that feeling in a most original setting.. i just wonder, can you talk about anything non-gay?.

  SO, What happened to : "the generation will not pass away" idea ???????

  okay, growing up a jw in the 70's 80's and early 90's, all we heard about was how the generation of 1914 will not pass away,(much like witnesses in the 60's and early 70's all heard about 1975) (what a great parallel) conventions, watchtower articles, public talks, endless studies and of course every issue of the awake magazine had it on the inside cover, it was everywhere, brothers, sisters and elders were absolutely sure about this, the society constantly mentioned it in our kingdom ministry (service), it was everywhere.

  then with the change in november 1995, it just kinda disappeared and became unimportant.. does the society even mention "this generation will not pass away" anymore ?????.

  seems to me, that the past 10 years, it has hardly been mentioned anywhere anymore.. what do you think ??

  'it passed away' lol The similarity between wts and Orwells 1984 are scary. a very strong control of information. The one born in knew exactly what you were saying, the one recruited after 95 prob never heard about it, its true. I remember tellimg a schoolmate when I was about 12 about it and stressing the end can come at anytime. Im now ebarrassed that freind will ask me what happened.that lie directly affects me, like the UN propaganda I distributed, they made me look like an idiot.

  well, it's cold in alaska.. i'm on a billion dollar boat with a dial up internet connection, and a, well, boat load of asians.. god, those people photograph everything.

  i took my shoes off in the gym, and i had like sixteen little asian girls looking at them.

  oh, the stories i could tell..... the funniest thing is watching my grandfather communicate with the foreign staff.
