Confuedjw, that's why I'm still so angry. I really believed the lies I was being told, and thought God was happy that I was miserable not being able to do what I love. Do you know how fun it was to destroy the top track stars in gym class? I actually had three gym classes in one day my junior year. I ran the mile 3 times in the same day, and every time it got faster. But I guess that's the past, but I still have so much bitterness and hatred towards them for taking that away from me.

i live in mexico and the dubs come to my door from time to time.
usually i tell them that i hope that they can leave their religion because it's a cult.
yesterday i told them that i'm gay and that i know they hate gays.

Consider yourself lucky. Sports will always be a huge part of my life. Unfortunately a cult denied me the oppurtunity to do the one thing I was awesome at. When I was in highschool I used to run the mile in 4:17. That would have done real well at state. I probably could have gotten a scholarship to a college. But oh well, I was too busy serving God. Although I'm still pretty fast for my age. I can still run a 5:25 mile at 27 years old. It still is a very sore spot for me.

a hundred years ago or so, when women did not all look the same and screech like ancient hinges, and strip malls were just a nightmare in a squirrels mind, i wrote a jazz column for a newspaper.
it did not last long as i was eaten up by the wt and became a regular pioneer with an irregular notion and a pile of scruffy s8's.. .
i well remember one issue in which i took great exception to a comment made by duke ellington which seemed to me to be far to general and subjective to make much sense.

i was noticing, how the great majority who are fading, or are df or da, and post here, seem to go through a sincere personality change for the better.. it is of course a very humbling experience to find out how wrong and judgemental we were.. but is there a witness or two, who even if they posted here, you wouldn't trust them or like them.?

I honestly know many people who I wouldn't trust no matter what the situation was. There's alot of JW's and non JW's who I don't trust. I learned the hard way about trusting people. The fact of the matter is you almost always get burned. I only give out just enough information to get a point across. Very rarely do I open up and expose myself for others to see what I really feel. It was a hard lesson to learn, but at least I know now.

(that's the cheapest gas!!!).
there are 3.78 liters per american gallon, so this would give $3.57 a us gallon..... what's the price of gas in your area?
I just filled up about an hour ago at $2.16 per gallon.

i still attend the occaisonal sunday meeting with my believing wife in an effort to show my respect for her feelings and my willingness to be tolerant.
I would never go to the Kingdom Hall again. Every time I drive by it I flip it off.

do you think the org will come up with some obsure scriptural/prophetic understanding to explain the reduced zeal for the 'kingdom' now?
The prophecy says the love will cool off, not go completely cold and dead.
