  Watchtower Magazine to be Published Monthly

  i heard from my bethel contact that the magazines are to be published monthly from 2006 and 2007. only 12 mags a year, but 46 pages each with no colour illustrations.has anyone else heard about this cut back?

  i also heard there is to be a new song book in the summer so that witnesses no longer sing about "sheep and goats" and other "old light".

  Hey SlimBoy, one of the first signs of becoming an apostate is visiting websites like this one. What would your precious little elders think about you lurking around on here? They definitely would call you in the back room and take away any congregational responsibility you might have. Apostates are the smart ones. We see the JW religion for what it is. Just a bunch of power hungry old men, making millions of dollars by using fear, guilt, and lies to control people. I'm not their little puppet anymore like you are apparently.

  jws and the wts have policies in place for the sole purpose of discriminateing against and harass people who do not believe the same things they believe.

  they hunt down anyone who exercises their freedoms or speech and religion so that they can destroy the person's family... now they are getting a small taste of what they do to other people... how do they respond?

  they cry "foul".. .

  I hate to see bad things happen to people. We are all humans after all. As much as I hate the JW religion and what it does to people, no one deserves to die for their beliefs. I'm very bitter and angry for what the JW's did to me, but it doesn't mean I want to see them tortured and killed.

  How do you feel about.....

  going back to a kingdom hall?.

  recently i've had a couple of visits from jws while i was at work.

  each time they left a message that the co was going to be visiting this week and that it would be good if i went to the meeting.. i was really surprised at the strong reaction i had to the thought of going to a meeting again.

  How long since you been out in service?

  it must be about 13 years since i went out in service.

  about 15 years since i went out a couple times a month, and about 18 years since i went at least once a week.. i just can't imagine going from door to door anymore.

  but to think that we all did it for quite awhile.

  It's only been two years. But it feels like an eternity. After I quit, I became such a different person. I honestly can't believe I did that all those years. It digusts me, all the time I spent doing something meaningless.

  When you win the 100 yard dash, and the mile in gym class 3 times in one day(yeah I had 3 gym classes), yet you have to tell the Track coach you can't go out because it will interefere with service.
