They asked me to clean the toilets, and when I told them no they acted mad. The elders are stupid poopy-heads. Now that I'm DA'd I don't think I qualify for such a grand privilege anymore.

by Englishman ini heard today that brothers who volunteered at assemblies were only accepted on the proviso that they were "brothers in good standing".
i also heard that anyone reproved or df'd might have to wait for 3 to 5 years before being allowed to clean the gent's loos as a volunteer.. is that right?
what other things are held back from folk who aren't quite up to the mark?.

today whyamihere was able to bring her little guy home from the hospital.
they had to stay another night with him hooked up to the iv as the liver tests had been discouraging at first...but normal by last night.

JW's attitudes have always sucked. They have so many dates that are supposed to be significant, yet nothing ever really changes.
1995 was important though. It was the year of my highschool graduation. To bad I was still a JW and didn't have the party to end all parties.

so many times we second guess god or our conception of him and we discuss why this or that does not make sense or could not be, or is not fair.. then how would you if you were god (with unlimited power) handle rebellion?

If God wanted a world full of loyal followers he should not have granted us free will. I rebel because it makes me feel justified of who I am. Was Satan wrong? Have we ever heard his side of the story? Rebellion is something deep within all natural leaders. Why would God put that in us if wasn't to be used?
