first they have two properties listed here 124 columbia and 85 jay street.
these have to be worth a lot of money.

Let's keep an eye open to see if there will be a letter of some sort to the Congregations or Elders about this especially if their spy's see how much its talked about on Satan's world wide web! We know it will not be on jw.org! -

New Watchtower - Old Lies!
by The Searcher inthe org's writing committee think that if they repeat a lie often enough, the sheep will believe it!
seems to be true for most j.w.
's, sadly.. for lurkers who think everyone here is a "lying apostate", read revelation 20:1-12, then read the latest org quote, and compare it with the link.

Amazing how they are trying so hard to know what is in those "NEW" scrolls!! I guess the "spirit directed" holy spirit is not moving fast enough for them. Talking about misleading --"During"--- what a crock! -

Far fewer references to lesbians
by Doug Mason ini notice that while a search of the wt library reveals many references to homosexuals, there are few references to lesbians.. does the wts include women when it uses the term homosexual?.
when discussing masturbation, does it mention both sexes?.
i am asking out of pure ignorance, seeking clarification.. my only comment is that religion of every shade has difficulty with the subject of sexual activity, as if it were something that is not part of nature.. doug.

They never mention women at all!! When you see pictures on the topic in the magazines- what do you see- usually a brother/men. Unless the Watchtower pages say it, is it safe to assume it!!! -

The Bible can help JWs to stop judging homosexuals. Try this method.
by DATA-DOG ini ask, "did god cause evil?
god did it!
whether they answer with #1 or #2, you've got them.

Folks in my neck of the woods say its a choice to be gay. I stumbled across a few JW's who saw the Bruce Jenner story and felt sad for him/her. I ran into some who thinks that folks get it from demonic TV programs that features homosexuality and choose that life style.
After that Bruce Jenner story surfaced I came across this study: http://www.theguardian.com/science/2014/feb/14/genes-influence-male-sexual-orientation-study
Whether its from imperfection or not - for some they are people who are born "hardwired" that way.

Everybody loves Raymond
by Saintbertholdt ina while ago the user vinman started a forum thread called: "ray franz was an idiot".
the reaction to it was quite negative but i have to admit that the title of that thread was intriguing to me.
by nature i am an iconoclast.

In a business that is based on communication and the exchange of information authored by people in responsibility, all it takes is one mistake and then you have the finger pointing, the "hey I never said that", "I never gave made that statement" or something to that nature. You then decide to "CYA" cover your ass with ANY decisions being made, any directions given. Since Ray did not write down EVERY conversation and interaction we never know what lead him to "take good notes" from a point forward. Did he have interior motives? maybe - maybe not but where you could make global analysis of what he wrote, the important thing is that we all got a chance to see / peer into the GB world that is hidden and forever would be hidden from the eyes and ears of those outside the WT fortress command center, a world we would never had known or had a 1 and a million chance to ever know if it had not been for Raymond Franz. -

Are you "trained" to be loyal?
by DATA-DOG ini went for the kh today for personal reasons.
it was pretty dumb, but not horrible.
anyway the speaker used a terrible, but accurate illustration in his gb approved outline.

At my meeting the speakers talk was about Jehovah being our stronghold. His illustration was about a storm shelter.
Jehovahs Organization is like that storm shelter in that the kingdom hall is our protection from the world, the ministry, studying, meeting attendance and meditating is what will help us keep Jehovah as our stronghold.
if you were in the storm shelter and you realize that it was time for you to go to work- you would not go because of the storm. The kingdom hall is like our storm shelter, you would not miss the meetings because of work, missing meetings is no way to show Jehovah that he is your stronghold.
The WT study brought the "Obey even if it doesn't make sense" GB command. WT conductor said that if we are given instructions that doesnt make sense, all we need to know is that it came from the faithful slave and we just do it.
regarding the WT- how do you separate being loyal to Jehovah AND his kingdom? Where is that in the bible?
Just more interesting comments to make us faders throw up in our mouths!

by goingthruthemotions injust on of the perks of being an apostate who is married to a branwashed, blinded jw woman.

I am in the same boat. I love my wife very much, but she has not learned to separate US from the Governing Body.
As crazy as it may sound - I still go to the meetings because I love her and I think its the closest to what a christian should be doing.
For years I do my part by being kind and affectionate as much as I can so she can at least "feel" I love her. I try very hard not to make a comment nor a facial reaction to anything that sounds dumb or stupid. She knows my hatred for the GB.
From time to time she ask me my opinion and I try to be as "professional" as I can.
last week in listening to the August JW broadcast something that was said on there made me burst out with "come-on-man"!! and she said "what"? I explained what was wrong with some statements and she got upset and stormed out. I went after her and she said leave me alone just "leave me alone".
two days went by without a word from her- so I text her and told her in so many words- how in the world can you get mad at me and treat our relationship this way based on some men we dont know and will never meet. I married you for YOU and not because of the kingdom hall but because she was a spiritual person.
That seem to calm her down and slowly we got back to normal. SO if you love her do your part to make her feel that despite being an apostate your love is not based on the organization but her. That may help a little.

What Qualifications does Geoffrey Jackson have as a Translator of the Bible ? In any Capacity ?
by smiddy ingeoffrey jackson left school at the age of 15 and began pioneering , he never attended a university ,never studied ancient greek ,hebrew or aramaic at any recognized teaching academy , he has no certificates or credentials / qualifications from any place of learning that is approved by a competent body of religious instruction .. and by his own words at the australian royal commission , under oath he stated that was his primary role as a translator of scripture into other languages .. a 15 year old drop out from school in australia is the chief/ prime translator of the bible for jehovah`s witnesses world wide in their many languages that they preach in .. it would be very interesting to see his report cards for those few years he did attend school .. is it just me , or does anybody else see that his qualifications don`t come up to scratch to be a translator of the old testament or the new testament scriptures , and be taken seriously as a translator of either , into any language.. if i am wrong anywhere in this post feel free to correct me .. smiddy.

In JW land (especially if you have no certified training) all it takes is for you to volunteer a few times and speak like you know something and next thing you know you are the "go- to" guy! -

What woke you up?
by Israel Ricky Gonzales inin march of 2014, i was a very active jw, a ministerial servant, gave a public talk, was an attendant for the memorial, and one of 4 cleaning captains for an international convention of 40,000+ attendees.
so what woke me up?
an innocent comment from a co-worker about the candice conti court case rang a bell that could not be unrung.

I was separated from my wife, dis-associated and moving out. Because of what my wife and I was going thru at the time--I called a fellow elder to keep an eye on my sons and at least please say hello to them when he see them at the meeting--he was VERY mean and rude, told me that it's not his job to look after my kids and that I should have thought of this ahead of disassociating myself. I said all I ask is that you say hello to them for encouragement- he hung up on me!
what love- my fellow elder who I served with for 9 years! This action caused me to stay away for a few years in mental pain- how could this be Gods organization what happen to the things we learned in elders school!!!
i somehow discovered this website and it has helped me get over my anguish and give me the slap in the mental face to WAKE-UP!!!
