Then we can look on the bright side....We could all be working on a common goal with people that won't rape,kill, or steal from us (even if there are a lot of them in the org. I am sure God will not allow them to exist). And then when the work is done I would personally love to be living in a paradise with all of my kids and of corse those cute little lion cubs!

First of all, I was talking about what most churches believe about Hell verses what the JWs believe. I know the point they were making, I was just trying to be funny and make a little point of my own.
And Sunnygal41, thank you but the "innermost person" in me is saying that what the JWs teach is right and that is why I am here. I don't think I want them to be right but at the same time I want to do what is right. Does that make sence?

Everybody that says they would rather burn in Hell than live forever with JWs is not being honest. My finger was burned once and I couldn't even sleep through the pain. Can you just imagine that on your whole body.....forever? I'd give you 5 minutes before you would be begging for the baptism water! lol!

Just wanted to add that most of the people that go to the Kingdom Hall here are very nice and sincere people. The elders are the kindest people I have ever met. I just want to know the truth about God and what I'm doing here and with 5 kids....I can't afford to make a mistake!
Do you really think any group of human beings can be perfect? Especially if Satan is really out there?

One of the things that attracted me to this religion was their view on this. I hated the thought of my grandparents burning in Hell just because of what they believed. JW believe that EVERYONE will be brought back don't they? Most churches teach a much worse conclusion to life. And I don't know about you but flying around in the clouds for eternity doesn't sound like awhole lot of fun either!

it really jumped out at me so i thought i would share it ... it never made sense to me before it was always very confusing.

So if Jesus was the APPEARANCE of a human and the scripture uses the word FORM, then he also had the APPEARANCE of GOD since the word form is used there also?

Hi, I just posted almost the same question under another subject! And how can you possibly see Jesus as God? And how can you ever believe in hellfire? Where can we go now and still have some hope in our lives? Isn't Jehovah Gods real name? Doesn't he care if we use it or not? There are some things that you just can't forget! Was it all lies? Was the foundation correct but something just went wrong? What is the truth? Is there a truth?

Hi, I just happened to stumble onto your forum so I joined. I too would like to feel the freedom from JW org. although I am not a witness and have only been studying with them and recently going to the meetings. ( I have been studying for over 12 years!) But where do you go from there? Can you really go back to a Church that teaches hellfire or believes you become an angel when you die? Or even believes that Jesus is Gods son and Father(???). And if you don't have a religion at all...then where is the hope? I don't want to feel like all there is is to grow old and die....I'm already half way there!
I do feel like the weight of the world is on my shoulders and to be free would be a GREAT relief...but like I said where do you go from there?
