ive had a myspace for months...i have blogged & when i got down deleted most everything...but i have recent pics & ill update everything else when i have more time...i love blogs...they are addicting tho!

can a person be disfellowshipped without knowing?
by Crooked Lumpy Vessel incan a person be disfellowshipped and not know about it?
me and my husband have been shunned the moment we stopped attending meetings.
no one has ever called and only a few have come by over the last 2 years.

thats interesting to hear blondie....
i wont get into my story a bit long...but pretty much due to severe depression i skipped many meetings...begged the elders for help...i lived in a very small town...not a single call...i heard from a neighbor that 2 men in suits stopped by my apartment while i was as work 1 time..(and everyone knew where & when i worked)...no letter or note left...they came to eat at the restuarant that i was a server at and would avoid me when i would try to go talk to them...eventually i moved to try to start a new life and heard through another sister that i had been disfellowshipped that the announcement was made more than a year b4 we had spoken ....news to me!....she was asking me to come back to Jehovah and work to get reinstated and i was like reinstated?...i had never even known...& she assumed i knew...never a judicial commitee...or anything of the sort...but i had been on private reproof for tryin marijuana 1 time a yr b4 so maybe they decided they would use that...who knows...i wonder if i could get my files/card to find out the reason for them taking that kind of action against me.

by brokenfairy inonce in a while for some reason or another ill take a look at the official jw website.... their latest magazine is interestingly talking about propaganda.... the wt reads "propaganda tells you what to think" but "good educators present all sides of an issue & encourage discussion".
"propagandists sift the facts...exploit useful ones...distort & twist facts...your emotions not logical thinkin abilities are their target".
this article is under "do not be a victim to propaganda".

ugh this didnt happen once or twice but a few times to me .... being married to an "unbeliever" and with 4 kids to get to the meetings sometimes i just didnt have time to eat...my stomach just wouldnt be quiet and it would growl so loud & long that close to half the congregation could hear it.& they would start laughing..of course it happen when no one is talking or the bro giving the talk was pausing..or worse of all during the prayer!!!

Things kids say & do that bring a lump to your throat
by Simon inyou know what i mean ... when they do something **so** nice that you nearly start to blub !!.
the other day angharad had gone out and i was joking with the kids that with mum gone, they could have a pint of beer with me if they wanted (to see what they would say).. liam (7) told me in an earnest voice "dad, i don't think i'm old enough to drink beer yet.
i think i have to be 16" (16 = grown up to him for everything ... he's already sussing out how old he needs to be to drive).. well, i told him how i was proud he was so sensible and wasn't afraid to stand up and say "no" and that i was really looking forward to when he was old enough to take me out and buy me a pint of beer (ok, father-son moment ... i was getting emotional already).

aw these were so cute .... i have 4 kids and they have all said the funniest things at times...my youngest daughter couldnt pronounce words well when she was little & she was a total luvy-duvy lil girl....she would come up to me ....smile real big and very serious & caring at the same time...take my face into her hands, take a deep breath, smile and say "mommy you are so pitiful" LOL she was trying to say beautiful! haha...altho pitiful was prob the right word....she would also say "mommy i love all the body!" > i love everybody! and "i love you to the berry sky & thats so much!"
i miss that!
