Katrina is a *Witch* With a Capital "B"

ok, i am all about helping the victims of katrina...but i am really getting sick and tired already of people i care about leaving to go rebuild the city.
this really sucks.. feels like war and all the men are leaving.. i have decided katrina is a b**** and not only does she tear up peoples lives, she is stealing all the men too!!.

What are your weekend plans?
by joelbear intonight i am going for a walk with my dellpod on and listen to some tunes.. come home and watch a movie.. tomorrow, i will finish painting some little wooden animals i bought to put on stakes in the front yard.
then pottery class.. then dinner with friends at a thai restaurant.
then mitch comes home for one night of snuggling.. sunday.

Today-Work on photos of a wedding that are nearing deadline. Complete my portion of teamwork for paper in Finance MNGT. Edit more photos of a family portrait shoot. Take oldest to a career fair. get to bed fairly early. (after drugging up on meds because I am getting sick)
Tomorrow- Go to balloon festival at 4:30 AM and volunteer to do my portion to benefit the Childrens medical center. Come home and get my youngest to take her to festival. She wants to see the balloons. Do individual homework for school due monday. Edit more photos of another family portrait photo shoot. get to bed...(after drugging up on meds because I am getting sick)

Terry- I see no solution except to start all over with horse and buggy and I bet the activist have a problem with the use of horses. My ex-cousin by marriage works on nuclear cores and would tell us how there is to be no more plants built with nuclear and all the other solutions have been x'ed by activist also.
He is really big on letting me know to have an alternative way to run my home, etc. He said brown outs are to be very common in the coming years. That was two years ago.
"It is kind of freaky because he will work for 3-6 months and make more than most of us do in a year or two. His card that he wears slowly climbs the acceptable amount of exposure he can get. When it reaches its limit...he goes home to dry out."

Boobah... an acid trip for kids?
by Elsewhere inwhen i get up for work in the morning i normally watch a bit of news in bed before i start to move around.
the other day i was flipping through the channels and came across a very very strange show on pbs at 6:30 am (dallas channel 13) called boobah.
it is designed for very young children... and i swear it looks like an acid trip!

My daughter called me in about a year ago and told me to look at this possessed show. She is 13 now and she highly warns others that this show is possessed. It sucks you in and snorts your brain.
She really is a funny kid.
