Omelette ideas
by R.F. ini absolutely love omelettes.
the problem is, i've come to realize the ones i make are pretty bland.
i only usually use ham, and(or) bacon, sausage, cheese, and sometimes tomatoes.

UPDATE ON DANSK
by Physio init's been a long time since i posted here but i often read your messages when ian (dansk) logs on.
as most of you will know, ian will be going back into hospital on monday for an allogeneic stem cell transplant and will be away from the forum for a good few weeks (hopefully he'll be back home within 4-6 weeks).
last time he was in hospital many of you sent messages to his ward and i know they cheered him up immensely.

Ian's update..... Saturday evening. Infection in the line. He's feeling particularly rough and has a temperature. He reckons he'll be in for another 2 weeks. He feels like a caged bear, but hasn't got the energy to roar. However, he still wants to be remembered to all!.
Sorry I haven't got better news or a home date to report.
Claire
Hello Claire and Ian. I am sorry that things are going so absolutely rough at the moment. I do hope that things go a bit better soon. He is remembered here. You too dear claire. I am sure it is rough hanging in there. Please remember to rest; as he needs to, so do you.

We are we almost all black now? Especially CO's.
by coaster infor the past couple of years at my district conventions, i have been unable to actually listen to most of it, so my mind is in many places.
one such place was to count people in several of the other sections as to blacks and whites.
section 132..42 white and 137 black, section 133..36 white and 144 black, and so on.

im sorry maybe im seeing some racist innuendo that is not there, but i dont see why the hell you are sitting there playing count the negroes... i think that, even if you are at an assembly, you must have better things to do with your time.. like writing, reading or going for a walk...
this topic kinda offends me... im sorry if im being a prude here, but your (not that it matters) doesnt help the situation here... black or white, they are people... your observation to me is, well, offensive, and a nice step towards racism in my books....argh, now i sound like a prick, and i know someone will say calm down infamous, but seriously, COUNT THE NEGROES?????
Ahhh Creepy!! I have missed you. I woke up this morning and read this and for some reason a huge a$$ smile broke across my face. I can't explain it exactly. It just tickled the heck out fof me and I thought to myself! THERES CREEPY!!!! How have you ben my most non racist lil Canadian?
I think I might cancel my own count out being half and half mix. lol (And you might give coaster a break here, it is an assembly, I can't begin to name all the stupid things I started to count to get throught those damn things) I counted times they said Jehovah, Jesus, the word I, or paradise. Tiles in the ceiling, brothers with certian color ties, lightbulbs along the top railings.....the list could go on and on.

I hate Walmart!
by Elsewhere ini rarely ever set foot in the place and will go out of my way to avoid shopping there.
tonight i made the mistake of giving walmart the benefit of the doubt and walked in the door.. they didn't have the main item i was looking for, but they did have one other small item.
i headed to the front to check out only to find they had only a few check-outs open and all of the lines were far too long.

Ok, gotta say after watching this thread this last week...I am not going to hate. I am really working hard at not letting the little sh*t get to me. One of these things is the people behind the counter. There are a million things that happen with the people behind the counter that just push my buttons. Maybe it was because while in customer service I took it serious. I expect people to do the job they hire in for the correct way. So instead of getting pissed off, I am trying to not let it get to me. Not obsess, and not be mad a day or week later at lousy customer service or a person who let bad manners get in the way of them doing a good job.
I will not freak out on cashiers...I will not obsess, I will not be overly critical, I will not let my thought process think on them for days to come. I will let the little crap go....
Little crap go...little crap go...

A couple hundred more times and I might just get it through my head. You think?

I waited for you to come back....but you didn't....
Aw hon, I did, but most of the peeps had already left. I caught the tail end of Mr and Mrs Rabbit who deeply touched my heart, Ms. Joy and Mr. Eman himself. Cruzanheart and BigTex were there of course and I enjoyed a few more minutes of Valis and Liz.. I said a few hellos and goodbyes and it was done.

The Q Drum~ Reinventing The Wheel~ Why Didn't I think of This?
by Sparkplug inthe q-drum, a low cost rollable water container for developing countries.. the burden of fetching water, invariably over long distances by cumbersome and far too often, unhygienic means, is all too evident in rural africa.. the idea of the q-drum originated in response to the needs of rural people for clean and potable water, as well as easing the burden of conveying it.
the solution had to be simple, water in adequate quantities is by far too heavy to carry, by rolling the water in a cylindrical container and not carrying it seemed to be the only solution.
the container had to be durable, and breakable handles & other attachments would simply not do - in many parts of africa even a hammer & a nail are scarce commodities.. the q-drum addresses these needs by providing a simplistic, cost effective and durable solution: the uniqueness of the q-drum lies in the idea and design of the longitudinal shaft or doughnut hole, and is acknowledged by the fact that worldwide patents have been granted for the concept, thus confirming the novelty & inventiveness of the design.

Love the rolling drum idea - maybe they can develop something similar to get wine from the liquor store to the house for the inebriated - think of the huge cut down in DUI convictions. But then maybe we'd have people getting snowballed over by run away wine vaults on the sidewalk...that could be funny though.
Oh Crumples and Knock Knock...you two have ME rolling today!
