I know and thank you. I am so angry I have tears in my eyes.
For years I have believed this sort of filthy behaviour to be the preserve of the Catholic Priests. I always thought we were a religion of principal and pride in Jehovahs name and that we would never condone this. Well, my eyes have certainly been opened tonight. I feel sick to my stomach.
I will put it in prayer but I cannot stay if they don't remove this scum from our organisation. To think that the Society is covering this filth up is shocking to me. I just cannot believe it.
I cannot stay. I am sorry. I am not a paedophile apologist.

Not to add pressure on you, I am sure you are going through a lot right now. But even if they remove that man from the congregation. They have about 23,000 or so more to go. One of my brothers is a convicted (by self admission) child sexual offender. He told on himself or I doubt it would be public. Served 4 years in prison and still was never disfellowshipped. He is still in the congregation now that he is out and still around children. He wrote me letters once admitting this one child was not the only child he messed with. I gave them to the elders to give to legal authorities. (I was young and naive, believing they would help) these letters disappeared. Never to be seen by me again.
I on the other hand went to the elders for fornication when 18. (Of my own will and as sorry as I could be) Nobody would have known and I had no reason but complete remourse to tell. I was df'ed in 15 minutes.
Just a thought.
By far this is not all my story it only gets worse, but mine is so common and to think this probably just another one that is covered over.

Luckily this phone belongs to my husbands Corp, they are a competitor to At&t and it was purchased just to let the execs play with it, see it etc...the phone is live and I could go to town on it, but then headquarters would get a really big bill, they might need a shipping crate to stuff all the pages!
Aw honey..I saw that 300 page bill and was soooo embarrassed for my own company. lol BUT upon reading further...THAT is why you need to sign up for E-BILL.
Anyhow, I can't afford one either. I want one also. Apple people got one free I hear, but not my company. Although now we get a 10 percent discount. HAH! like that is going to happen. Maybe they can give me a 10 percent raise so I can help pay my morgage!
Anyhow, I am in love with it too. I want one so bad I can't see straight. BUT, it is not happening here today either.
On the funny side, I found out today this guy I work with (That I really can't stand, won the lotto) Not in a small way either! So on top of being annoying, he now has his home, cars, everything paid off and a great retirement. He opted to stay working. (probably to annoy us some more) * I bet he has an I phone!* lol Anyhow, I am shocked he stayed, because he also served in the forces and gets a hefty check from them and some other place. How he does it, I don't know.

Tall Penguin~ The freedom comes with time alone sometimes. It has taken me three attemps and
ten years away this time for my mind to be free. That seems like a long time, but with a good 27 years before the ten years away, of brainwashing, I think I am making a good doubletime, if not tripletime. It will come honey. Do things outside the normal with yourself. Join groups without J. Do things in the community and with people you normally would not have joined in with. Perhaps just local charities and city council groups. Things like that will get you involved, help you make friends, help you find a voice and a pourpose. Make a new type of family. Then if you have not found out allready, maybe like some of us you will see you have so many opinions. So many you can't shut up! It is liberating. Learning temperance is always fun too. lol
I am sorry you are alone right now, but hopefully us being here gives you someone to talk to.

Barbara's CD - Answering the Critics
by Hoping4Change init would be interesting to hear what people think will be the things (if any) that jw's wont be able to deny from barbara's work.
for example, over on the topix boards, many are crying out that the "dismissed with prejudice" documents prove nothing and that there is no "proof" any settlements were paid.
i havent hardly begun sifting through the mountain of material, and it may be too early to start a thread like this, but it would be good to hear some comment and opinions that "answer the critics" about this bundle of material..

I had posted a small response to Danny H's post, and thisJW, I think Jumped on me and started name calling and well was really ugly. So I went so far as to post a bit of my story over there after. Things that had to deal with abuse and could be discussed. One peson commented, and I think perhaps they may have been an exJW...not sure, but not one of the JW's that had been mud slinging commented, and they just jumped past it and changed topics (red herringed it) and kept on going. It was not realling a post they could ignore either. It was really odd. It was almost like they knew they would have had proof...so they just skipped over me. It was so odd.
