A friend of mine in Misouri was DF'ed at 13 for making it with an elders daughter. She was a year or so older than him. He gof DF'ed and nothing happened to her. I met him when he was reinstated, but I hear now that he is older he has left. I thought it was bad happening to me at 18. Especially since the average witness kid is so much behind on everything. They may as well have been kicking a ten year old out!

its a tremendous ego boost especially if you are a janitor.
That is so VERY funny.
And in answer, I thing that the G-Body and Lawyers have to know. I am of the opinion that some of the elders do. I know of many elders that have left when they get over the thrill of being the popular janitor. It was too much corruption for them to take. There on they kind of float around, dissillusioned and we hear of the warning signs posted on those elders. Kind of like the "boogeyman will get ya." They never really fit after that and often become quite eccentric fellows.

Hello
by sweet tee inthis is my first forum post though i've been out here reading yours for a while.
i didn't know how to post my bio.
i became a jdub at the age of 16. i had a child out-of-wedlock who was 1 year old at the time and i was searching for answers - i wanted my son to have a future and the one the witnesses portrayed was better than anything i'd ever heard!

And has anybody had "shepherding calls" for dfed people? When I was in I remember that a watchtower said something about calling on such ones yearly to see if circumstances hadchanged and they wanted to come back. I have never had one of these.
I have never had a call either. In fact my brother who is a JW... A very bad one...asked the Big Brothers why they never check on me, and they said straight up that they have had several talks with me. LMAO. I have never even see any of them on my street and I have been here for 5 years.

Cathy, I likes how you think and I have started to go and see things lately just because. 2004 I hit London, Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam. Then Way deep into Mexico at Raices and Saragosa and then downtown Dallas. that was creepy. Also made it to Missouri and Oklaholma, This year I have not decided yet.

Tough day -- my mom died today
by cruzanheart inpoor thing, she's had alzheimer's for about 10 years and the last year she's been on hospice care because she's been so close to death.
the past few months she's been slowly filling up with water -- they gave her lasix (not sure of the spelling) to relieve the edema and it worked, sort of.
last weekend she actually looked a little better.

Nina,
I am so sorry for the pain you are all feeling. I know that it is tough dealing with Alzheimer's. It really is a hard thing to go through.
Death is a release for all concerned and in this happening, may your heart be released from the bondage of pain it has been held in while you have endured watching the illness take its course. My thoughts are with you. If you need anything. Even if it is just a coffee and a chat. I will send my number. Please call.
Sincere Love,
SP

Describe Yourself Without Being Revealing.
by Golf inas i told kl, i'm not sabotaging her thread, mine has a twist, for example, my wife 'descibes' me best by always reminding that i'm not 'normal.
' this means i do things differently than the ordinary person as i'm into many activities.
many of these activities involve people.
