An old lady once told me that if you had fake nails you could not possibly be a hard worker. I tried fake nails and I could not do a thing with them. so I love how the fake look...but I cant keep them and my real ones wont grow because I always am doing something. They get broke, and flake, and smashed, paint under them, car grease. you name it.

What are your favourite vegeatables?

nutritionists tell us that vegetables contain a wide variety of substances that are beneficial to our health, and these are not vitamins and minerals, they are called phytochemicals.

given the fact that in the western world people consume a great deal of industrially processed food eating a lot of fresh veg (and fruit) can only be beneficial.

do you consume a lot of these?

talesin...no prob. taste kind of like a potato with a bit of sweet.

You really need to try a yucca root. Spanish markets have it. It is a very heavy potato that you peal the thick skin, and boil, but it has a very tough if not hard root that runs down the middle of it that you will want to avoid when serving. Butter and salt work well on it. A ladie from Africa taught me how to cook it. I always go to Fiesta mart, pick up something crazy, look for someone who looks as if they are buying it because they actually will know what to do with it, and ask them. My kids try to hide they get so embarassed, but they sure do eat it. It is a fun thing to do!

Why do people feel they need religion in their life ???

after growing up a jw all my life, i have no clue why people would want to be part of any religion.. i don't get the mormon stuff.

i don't understand the catholic faith.

i really don't understand the muslim beliefs and all their levels and the suicide bombers.

My 2 cents on the matter is that it is like a child that needs to have some sort of structure. Religion provides some structure and lessens the accountability for the actions one takes. Check out Texas gal Terrie Hendrix. She has this song, "everybody wants to use God, when there's nobody but themselves to blame."

So seeing we have 3 stages (if one popular theory is correct) of developement and some huge percentage of us never get out of stage two...My thought is that there-ya-go, the percentage that are stunted (stuck in stage two) is far larger than the very small percentage who actually look outside how the world affects them, and so therefore they are still like a child. They need someone to tell them what to do, and someone else to blame.

Did you know 7/10ths of all percentages are made up on the spot?
