I love christmas as I gives me a chance to feel like I belong to a family. I could care less about it's christian/pagan roots. For me it's about the chance to catch up with friends and relax for a few days.

So when you all called me sparkplug it really threw her. Then trying to explain to her about being df'ed and such, well it is a long story so I never really have broken down and told it. I just let er think I was really weird and she still loved me..
With that said, she is dying to go to the next fest and wants to join the friends. She actually only was going to drop the food and run, and when she got to talking, well that is her thing and she and Mr. Kervin think.......

I am such a Boob!
by Sparkplug into fill you in, i have to say that things have been a bit crazy here and i have felt overwhelmed.
in order to ease the stress, i concidered giving up my post as an officer of the charity organization i am in.... (not drop charity work) just drop some stress, because i feel the pressure of knowing that if i mess up on the books, we all could loose our job.
this makes me nervous because i am prone to dyslexic behavior.

Thank you all for the laughs! It has taken me all night to get back to this because my internet connection was only reading to my router and not the modem. I have spent the last hour getting help from my cable provider. Very helpful people.
Hemp- now that is funny! I did something similar the other day while collecting walk money. I took this ladies 20 and did not give her change...she just stood there and looked at me like I lost my mind thinking she had given 20 dollars. I felt kind of dumb.
Almost athiest and all others with the funnies...you have cheared me up. It really is not that often that I react so harshly so fast. I am REALLY glad that I did not CC all the other officers in like I origionally intended. WHEW~~~ :o)

So I talked to the President about it and she wants me to remain an officer and finish out this years appointed position because I am so close to term.
Today she wrote a note stating she wants the reports for this month. So I asked her via E-mail if she had all the statements I needed.
She wrote back that she would would take care of the report . She reminded me that when I asked to resign that she did not want me to.
HERE IS WHERE I MADE AN A$$ out of myself. I misread resign as RE-sign and got so upset.
I usually do not respond in anger, and when I do it is disasterous.
So I wrote a huge mailing stating that this is not how I remember the conversation. In my misreading the memo, I thought that she was trying to tell me that I HAD ASKED to RE-SIGN and not resign, and that she did not want me anymore.
So this note I wrote asked her why am I walking and raising all this money under the charity name, and why am I still going to meetings, and why is she making me go to training for the Salvation Army...etc. I was so hurt.
I hit SEND. And sat there mumbling to myself for about 60 seconds and then it hit me. RESIGN...RE-SIGN. RESIGN...RE-SIGN. RESIGN...RE-SIGN.
OMG WTF had I done?
I tried to recall the note and of course she had already read it. So I took my dictionary over there and asked her how to spell the two words, as she tried not to laugh at me...and threw myself at her mercy.
She has humour in her blood and said yes, I am right in wanting to ease up my load...and please do not RESIGN, and she will change my position to something more community based after this term, where I do not have to do the books.
IT is funny now, but not so much at the moment.
Anyone else do this and make a BIG Boob out of self before?

I was going to post...Opened up JWD...Saw this
I coat my steak in fresh ground black pepper and a little garlic, than throw it on the grill for no more than 5 minutes, I like my steak moo'ing...tonight Im having bacon wrapped shrimp on the grill, caught them fresh out of the ocean 2 nights ago.
So I am taking the kids to my brothers and I am going to eat!
