Personally yes, I would still date a person with cold sores. Now I would wait until their sores healed up before kissing. Just like if they had the flu for a week or 2, it wouldn't change whether or not I would quit dating them.

hurry up and get you ass closer to me and your baby sitting and friend problems will be solved.
Ah, you're so sweet Lisa. I so wish I could move there. I've tried looking for apts there but they are either too expensive or will not take pet. I've tried to talk Zach out of his dog but it would crush him.
My lease is up in Oct so that doesn't give me enough time to get up a dep. I just got a note on my door yesterday saying they would like for me to resign my lease here. I'm waiting a bit longer just in case something pops up but if I sign by Sept. 18th the lease drops to 578. a month when it's been 600. a month. Also they will be taking off 100. for the first month of the signed lease.
It looks like I'll be here for one more year but that will give me enough time to save a little at a time so by next year I may be able to have a good deposit for a place closer to you.
Love ya too Lisa,
Froggy

If you are going to start getting pay checks soon why don't you borrow some money since it is certain that you will be able to pay them back quickly? Or I would also use a credit card, payments for the month's purchases are not due until the middle of the next month.
Good thought but I've borrowed out my a@@ just to get food on the table at times. My credit card (one that I have) is maxed. I even tried one of those "scam" joints to lend me money but they won't even look at me because of credit being so shot.
but does HE have friends or family in the area that he'd trust his children with?
I can ask. The situation there is that ex would help but he's stuck because of his job being demanding at this moment until Sept. I didn't ask if he had friends though. I will next time I see him. Good suggestion!
Positive thinking IS powerful!
I so agree. I even teach that to my kids, though it is so hard at times to remember this. Thanks for the reminder.
If I knew where you lived, I'd help you find child care. There are programs at your Social Service office that will provide child care pretty quickly.
I live in Columubus Ohio. I will look into Social Service. That would be the same building as Social Sercurity?
They have to be certified as a child care provider and complete a 10 year background check, but if you know someone who you trust to babysit in their home, it's great.
That is the biggest point for anyone babysitting my kids. I don't want to come back to kids messed up or killed because I chose the wrong babysitter "I" chose for them.

Call the local unemployment office and see if you have a similar program.
That's a good idea. I'll call first thing tomorrow.
Sometimes a student can be utilized for a short time and paid at month's end. There are often services that pre-screen the potential sitter.
I'm not sure what you mean...are you saying that there are services out there that will watch children and then you can pay at the end of the month? Would this service be able to watch kids for several hours during interviews?
Most people in my apt complex is working...and the ones that are not working are not fit for parenting. Though, with all the suggestions...I'm wondering if Family Job Services could help in some way....hmmmm
I'm wanting to call the possible jobs and make sure they received my resumes but at the same time am afraid they will want an interview that day and I wouldn't be able to find a babysitter....this is so mind boggling.

1. How do I get a babysitter when I have to go on the interviews?
2. How do I get a babysitter for the weeks I work when I'm not getting paid? (the transition part)
3. Already asked ex and he can't do it.
How do you work things out like this? I can not afford a babysitter until I get my first paycheck (which can take 2-3 weeks) and every outfit requires you to pay each week. The jobs (which are very good positions) can call me at any point. YIKES!!!
I'm on the verge of panic

I posted my answer this morning as "you would get a higher return"...but I couldn't explain why. I'm still trying to wrap my head around all the t-bills, codes and such. One of my friends told me to think of it as a "theory"...finances and stocks are all in theory not as "math". It makes sense now as to WHY it would have a higher return.
The first question I had to answer was " Suppose you owned a portfolio consisting of $250,000 worth of long-term U.S. government bonds.
Would your portfolio be riskless?"I answered "No, the portfolio would not be riskless for a long term t-bill. The risk free bonds would be more on the lines with short term t-bills and at that a person would need to be careful that they are U.S. bonds because some companies claim to have the backing of the government bonds and in reality do not."
The answer was right but it STILL is confusing to me. I was sure I was going to get it wrong.
