  They did come back for another touchdown to make it 38-24. I hope the beer helped wash the game down a little.

  Oh, they did, did they...I left cause I gave up on them. They had to not make ANY mistakes to make a come back and they fumbled, and that's when I left. Good for them for making another score.

  Yes, the beer and a few martini's helped me take the loss quite good. Oh well, maybe next year.

  Last I heard, Tressel was suppose to go NFL after this game...I hope not cause he's a great coach for OSU. I'm hoping that's just a rumor.

  Well..."Snoopy..or sloopy" didn't hang on good enough..We lost....damn it. 38-17...or somethin' like that...after LSU got their last score I gave up. Oh well.

  Most around here say's "snoopy", don't know why. The only thing I can think of is the Charlie brown and their baseball games. They (the OSU) also have a song...or rather a "talk" on how they are going to beat Michigans "a**". The "song" is quite funny. LOL

  Honestly, Did You "Care" So Much About The "Friends"?

  there are a lot of people who have complained of "no love" in their congregations.

  i'm wondering if they gave of themselves, in reality, if they look back.

  as an elder, i tried to "be there" when someone was in need but i must admit that i didn't always want to have to listen to a person's problems or a families' issues or some of the most ridiculous complaints, you could imagine.. were you really there for your brothers and sisters?

  To me, most of it was fake and explains why the so called "friends" can easily dump your a$$ the minute you fall out of line.

  I agree...I have always hated and will always hate the fake friends and acting in a fake manner just because I was told I had to...not anymore.

  Are scriptures missing from the Bible?

  i have heard that the bible as we know it today is not in it's entirety.

  i feel that this is deceptive and had people argue that the present day bible is how god intended us to read it because that is all we need/ it is presented how he wants us to have it.

  i don't buy that and feel that god wouldn't "hide" any of the holy scriptures as men have done.

  he is happy to see them but knows the problems associated with their visit will be hard to deal with.

  you see, these relatives don't understand how difficult it is to come out of the cult and move on.

  Awww, {{{Mincan}}}, my thoughts are with you today. It's tough to get ones to understand how it is or feels like when so much is "hidden" in that religion. Just know you have a LOT of friends that do know and understand. Don't let them bring you down hun. You can PM me anytime you need to just vent or chat.

  I baby sat many of the "Friends" kids early on. We even would go and pick up this elderly man for the meetings until he finally passed on. We stayed at this elderly couple because both of them were so sick. While I spent the night with them to help, a mouse ran across me while I was "sitting". I remember thinking, poor them, they need someone to help them clean because this may be part of their problem. They were too sick to clean and their house was beyond filthy. I cleaned for them as best as I could.

  I had a few "best" friends but they dropped me like a hot potato the moment they found out I was no longer going to the meetings.

  At one point I was in a position to help in a monetary way and would treat certain ones out with a very nice restaurant night. For a long time I made sure my parents phone bill was paid for. My parents don't even call for the grandkids...so, no, not much love.

  i am so excited about christmas, i've only celebrated 2 since 1978.. i will be having a mini - apostafest with some jwders on the saturday after christmas along with family (even some of my ex-husband's family).
