Nauseating JW.org section for small children - CUTOUTS? Really?
by BluePill2 ini am not hot linking to jw borg, but they have a whole section for obviously very small children (become j's friend, with a whole array of caleb-related stuff).
i have actually never visited the site, today was the first time, because i wanted to check a technical information about their websites architecture and came across this sh*t!.
the way they are targeting small kids is nauseating me (i have a 5 year old, still in with her mother).

Upcoming Surgery and Blood
by HeyThere ini am a newly unbaptised publisher.
recently i found out i need to have major surgery and the jw's tried to rush a blood card in my hand.
i was so relieved when the elders said i could not have one until i was baptised.. but they rushed to get me copies of the blood videos.

That is so weird. I had a blood card for many yrs before baptism, and I was a kid then (couldn't legally make my own decisions).

Does Christianity Need The Bible

the bible, as we know it, is a collection of what were very old texts when they were assembled by christian leaders in the late second and third centuries because they were deemed to be inspired by god.. whether they really were inspired by god or not is now open to debate, but should they prove to not be, it should not undermine christianity as an establishment.. discuss......

Mormon underwear was my first thought as well.
Is this really on jw.org? I can't stand to view that website.
Next up, a doll showing a doll getting taken to the bathroom for a spanking because a kid was playing with them during the meeting.

I don't think children should go to religious ceremonies that require them to sit still for long periods of time (not age-appropriate) & punish them if they don't, talk about adult things in great detail (masturbation, oral sex, etc.) and freak them out with stories about jehoho mass murdering people in horrible ways (including innocent kids/pets).

Why do I bother to wake up in the morning?
by punkofnice ini'm not suicidal just fed up.. i did think of suicide (briefly), but as there is no painless way and it's not something i would willingly do just in case things would have been better the day after.
i do have a slight grain of hope.. money problems.....problems at home (that's another matter with a son up court for something he is adamant he didn't do.
first offence but the pigs police and the cps have got charges made.

Call from my JW brother that I have not heard from in 5 yrs
by troubled mind inearly this morning i get a phone call from my jw brother i have not heard from in 5 yrs .the first thought in my head was someone has died .
so i answer cautiously ......hi is everything okay ?
he just starts talking as if we had always been in contact.
