If Prince had an addiction to prescriptions drugs, it's a personal matter but if I want to grow a beard or attend college, it's not.
by ToesUp ininteresting article i found about prince and the jw religion.
i guess they are trying to get their 15 minutes of fame.
i find it disturbing that the elder stated if prince had an addiction to prescription drugs, that is a personal matter but the hundreds of intrusive jw rules like going to college (not scriptural) and growing a beard (also not scriptural) are not also considered a personal choice.

Jehovah’s Witness tradition that a person’s body must be cremated within a week of death.
WTF?Elder Cook also said the church does not have a problem with Prince’s reported addiction to prescription drugs because ‘that’s a personal matter’.
Finally, the truth is spoken. They do not have issues with alcoholism or prescription drug addiction. Only illegal drugs are from Satan.‘We are in to homeopathy and things like that, because nothing is 100 per cent.'
And I'm so glad he came clean about their belief in useless water--I mean homeopathy--having magical properties to heal. So glad to see this in writing.

Just because one person did a bloodless hip surgery doesn't mean that everyone could. Medical situations vary from person to person. You never know what else he may have been dealing with that made bloodless surgery impossible. -

OMG I can't believe they acknowledged him at all. Obviously they do have a publicist--cartoons, a website, dancing and signs at the conventions--their publicist is normalizing them. This is dangerous, folks. Normalizing something makes it grow.
I wonder if, when his cause of death is released, they will regret claiming him.

Prince died from overdose?
by TweetieBird ini just saw where the emergency landing that prince made several days ago in moline was due to an opiate overdose.
this came from tmz and sounded pretty credible.
if true, just curious if he would still be given a jw funeral, if that is what he wanted..

TMZ is speculating.
There many rumors about how he died--OD, AIDS, pneumonia, flu, taking Tamiflu, getting the flu vaccine (insert mega eyeroll here--love the anti-science conspiracy theorists who disregard the need for any evidence at all).

Does HIPA still apply if your dead?
Yes. It is one of many laws protecting privacy.
If there is information about AIDS, HIV testing, genetics, substance abuse or mental health, then even more laws come into play.
If TMZ obtained info from a healthcare provider, that individual will probably go to prison on federal charges, lose her license, and get sued.
But it is perfectly legal for people not subject to HIPAA (friends, for example) to disclose anything they want.
