MY PEOPLE!!!!!!!

i'm an inactive, spiritually weak witness of not so good standing who stumbled on here the other day while trying to find out what tomorrows big announcement was going to be, after being told my mother that i might wanna go to the hall on sunday to find out.
it's cool seeing so many people who have shared some of the same experiences i have in the past.

Ditto, Blondie. I had a quick look through the Bible as to how to ''celebrate'' and I think I know what I will be doing (a few tips would be MORE than welcome though).HOWEVER, I am unsure as to whether to go for 23rd/24th March, or more likely the 23rd April (I googled Nisan 14, and I got an April date) - I'd be grateful for any pointers as this will be my first in my own home.

Have JW's set other dates since "1975" are have they quit fixing dates?
by booker-t init would seem that after 1914, 1918, 1925, 1975 that jw's would do as judge rutherford said and stop fixing dates but i was told they suggested other dates since 1975 failed prediction.
do any posters out there know of other dates suggested for armaggeddon that jw's claimed after 1975. i was talking to an elder the other day and he still insist that "apostates" started the 1975 rumor and some dedicated jw's fell for the rumor and that the wts never said 1975 was the end of the world.
he also claims that the wts only said that maybe the world would end but that they never said point blank that 1975 armaggeddon was arriving.

.....and which category did Jesus fall into.....? It's the craziest rule - God intended men to have facial hair is my thinking!
...even GOD had a beard, lol.(maybe He's had to shave it off now, to keep in line with WTBTS rules??!!) -

I would have to act even if I believed there was the SLIGHTEST possibility of children being harmed. Initially, I think I would have to print it off and take it to authorities. A quick google search has revealed 45 Congregations in that area. IF it is a sick joke (or some such thing) the writer should be found and either puinished or exposed.

Let the Games begin.......
by Gill inwell, after being shunned by my realtions for the last few years, except for parents and sister i've decided that i will no longer play by the rules of the jw cult game.
i have had contact with several cousins, obviously too gob smacked by my cheek to shun in any way shape or form and have began wriggling my way into their awareness again.
i intend to be like a kill and destroy white blood cell that gradually wreaks havoc with their jw cells and destroys...repeat destroys all that jw crap that is in them.

I hope you're not going to be tooooooooo naughty - no Anniversary cake with that ''special message'' iced on it, no apostagram (now THERE'S a business idea!), and NO little goodie bags for all the relatives to take home. And when you send an Anniversary card, don't forget to write the obligatory Scripture, which is NOT Deuteronomy 18 v 20, and nothing with ''Wild Beast'' in it (unless it's in relation to marriage and NOT Revelation!)

Is it getting warm in here or is it just me?
by jeanniebeanz inlately, it seems to be that people are on edge and are forgetting common courtesy in their posts.
people have told me that they were thinking of un-subscribing or at least taking a long break from the board due to people who take their negative opinion of the subject or opinion being discussed, and turn it into a personal attack.. what is happening here?
any idea why this sudden spike in overbearing rude people posting here?
