  Now tell me, was the Holy Spirit sleeping? the HS must have known what was coming, don't you think? What about Jesus? and Jehovah? what about billions of angels? what about the anointed already ruling with Chist?

  are you telling us that billions of entities did not manage, in 10 years, to alert any of the 9,000 or so remnants?

  when we get to daniel 4 we have the dream and the tree is compared to the king nebuchadnezzar.

  hi,

  when I pointed out that daniel 4 is never mentioned they immediately started to point out that daniel is mentined few time. (not daniel 4).

  So after going round and round, the conversation had dryed out.

  To the question "why no-one else in the bible mentions that connection with chap. 4, and why Daniel, the inspired pro[het of God doesn't mention it when he interprets the dream?" they had no answer so they asked me to leave......

  Borgia that's exacly the way I reasoned after this post when discussing it in a jw site in Italy....

  didn't go down well.... They did discuss it for a while but then they cut me off and banned me. (never been unpolite to them)

  Speaking of jwfacts..... I have dowloaded your "15 min to everlasting life" I think that's the title...very good... so I was thinking of traslating it in Italian with your permission, but I need to change few bits to make it suitable for the italian audience......

  So let me know if that is possible......

  i never converted to becoming a jehovah's witness as an act of volition.

  i gradually found myself absorbed into a group that "accepted" me.. being a part of something larger than myself was key.

  i'd never been inside a functioning group.

  In fact you'll see that 90 percent of people start questioning when they have a problem with the group.

  "Elder so and so did this and that" They have a problem with the group, they're not accepted as they would like to be.....or they realize the group is corrupt and that's when they start to question by extrapolation whether the entire org is in good faith

  The ostentation of love is due to a gun pointed to their heads.

  "pretend to love or you'll die a horrible death, and nasty birds will eat your eye balls"

  With that level of fear people would pretend anything....

  A bad group cannot keep the aura of "good faith" in what it does ....

  Sergio Pollina is not the owner of the site, he's the author of the article. (just to be precise)

  As for the owner of the site, You're absolutely right! the guy can't even understand that... common sense concept! All JW are immidiately attached from the get go and of course you can't find even hardcore apologists like our beloved Scolar JW let alone real JWs looking for confort or/and answers

  But to his credit he has the most info on JWs in italy and although his forum sucks, his site serves its purpose in the italian scene..

  Hi,

  Sergio Pollina is and ex-jw that now works along side the vatican and gets his books published by them. To be honest when you look at what the vatican represent, expecially in italy, I'm a bit (a lot) sceptical. Anyway I don't think it can add much to what the english speaking audience already knows.

  The web site you found the article on for example is very dispotic in it's moderation and it is essentially run by fundamental catholics. They pretend things like you give your real name to the owner, and don't you dare write in the wrong section, or repeat somenthing already said, or welcome a newby before the owner has done it.

  And on 111 pages online translator won't work well....

  But good luck anyway
