Ask- If they are so superior, why was the last JW public debate by a Watchtower president before WWII ? Have they failed to notice that their leaders avoid all public debate or question-answer meetings. What are they hiding from?

Kingdom Hall Spankings
by JH inmost meetings i went to, children were brought to the washrooms in the back to be disciplined.
often i could hear a child yell or cry due to the spanking given by the parent.
people in the hall would have that look on their face meaning that it was alright to discipline a child by spanking him.

The WT which champions itself as family friendly is actually hurting little children every week. I know now I was very wrong to force my small children to go to meetings from 7:30-9:30 during the week. They never got to bed before 10pm. Children in grade school should be getting ready for bedtime at 7:30, not going to the KH meetings. Just another aspect of mind control. I'm grateful I got out while my children were young and they never became JW's.

Here we go again. I did check your link ,Hoob- about the extinction events vs creation, that you gave me as an answer to my extinction arguements. I would prefer a man be able to study a subject and then give an understandable answer on the topic. Anyway, this man's science is very skewed. This rogue scientist, Johnathan Sarfati could be a copywriter for the WT and Awake magazines. Only people who lack the mental power to understand how the scientific process works could accept his explanations. He uses the same strawman techniques so skillfully wielded by the Governing Body to control the minds of Jehovah's Witnesses. This one-sided strawman arguement does not fool me anymore. I learned to see through that trick already.
I'm done with this subject.

Religion is a belief system to explain the unexplainable. Until such time as G-d enlightens us today ,we are left to our own explanations using unreliable old texts for a foundation. The Bible and other holy writings served man for 2000 years. We sorely need an update for our times.
Perhaps, if man doesn't go extinct prematurely, we might reach a level of understanding to comprehend the nature of G-d. We might not like what we find out.

I always wondered why the GB didn't have enough sense to relocate it's offices to some business friendly offshore paradise like the Bahamas or the Cayman Islands. There's no reason to do business in the cold north when you could be in an island paradise- shoot, they have enough money to buy a very large island all to themselves. They could rename it- : Amnesia island!- or maybe?
