i have attended just a handful of meetings over the 2 months.

i went yesterday, because i had an assignment and i really wanted to see my mate talk about masturbation from the platform, knowing he would be very uncomfortable about it!!!!.

anyway after the meeting i was approached by the cobe.

ok, i'm sure i am not the first one to be in this predicament but it sure is a headache, my jw ex called a few days ago, apparently she has met someone (they're not dating of course!

) and she wants to me to hand over the golden ticket.

she wants confirmation either in writing or verbally to a third party, that she is "scripturally free" to remarry.. i have managed for years now to avoid any judicial action and my jw family members still associate with me, but that all could come to a screeching halt if i give her what she wants.. the only bright side is she totally robbed me on the divorce; if she gets married i am at least off the hook for "spousal maintenance", that would mean potentially thousands of dollars in my pocket.... .

her son, jesse, is in serious condition.. my son is in surgery and may lose his hand and arm.. jesse got an infection in a cut on his finger.

his finger and hand swelled to the size of an arm .. .

they have to do surgery on his hand and arm.

I am hopeful that it is not a staph infection... had a friend in Cali that almost succomed to that awful bacteria. Hopefully, it will not be as bad as they suspect once the surgery begins and will be able to save his hand and arm.

define "harrassed"...

As in hauled into the backroom and having my ass handed to me for wearing a tight little green dress that zipped all the way up the back. The neckline came all the way up to the neck, it had long sleeves, fell to mid-knee level and a cute little shiny black belt. The objection, seriously, was that the sisters didn't like the way that the brothers had become distracted by the dress...

Did I also mention that I was 14? Morons the lot of them...

Do not forget the priveledges afforded to women in the troot... bathroom cleaning, dusting, cooking, giving demonstrations (never a primary talk) from the podium, being harrassed for looking too good in a dress... oops... how did that one get in there?

Ok, so, you don't blame Jah because it is his org that is imperfect. You don't blame the org because it's really the people. You agree that the org allows abusive people or leaders to keep their positions of authority in the lives of their 'flock', but also believe that Jah is directing the org.

My question for you, and I am serious now, when did Jah start leading the org you are a part of? I truly saw no evidence that he had anything to do with the org when I was in. The only evidence of direction was from the GB who lead the witnesses into one armageddon chase after another, flip-flopped on aspects of the blood doctrine causing great pain and hardship, and would allow their traveling henchmen (co/do) to give talks that they did not refute at the time even tho they knew the contents, and then blame the witnesses for misinterpereting, gave harmful direction in the areas how to approach mental disorders (depression), marital 'relations', parenting, education and non-reporting sexual and/or physical abuses of women and children to the authorities unless they were legally required to do so, and even then, try to do it anonymously.

So, since when did Jehovah have anything to do with the Org you so lovingly call 'the truth'?

What do non witnesses actually think about the evil practice of disfellowshipping?

whenever i have mentioned this practise to people who don't know much about the witnesses (although they should know about them due to the worldwide preaching activity .

to most right thinking people it is absolutely just not an option to have no contact with your immediate family.. one lady said to me "i'd rather rip my heart out".. what has been your experience when people find out that jw's carry out this evil practise?.
