It got me thinking though, and another question popped up: even if we renewed the search for Osama, dead or alive, it seems from reports that the Iraqi people are so terrified of the radical fundamentalists that they are not willing to risk further endangerment of their families by turning over people that they know are close to him.
At what point do the Iraqi people have to step up and kick these radical murderers out of their country? At what point does it become the Iraqi people's issue to deal with? Aren?t we just there to stabilize things so that they can get the chance to deal with it themselves?
If you had your way, how would you proceed to withdraw from Iraq now that Saddam is in custody?
