GhostsI know what you're looking for
You've looked in these eyes before
And all you saw was blue green water
Searching for a mirror
That would show the world not who you are
But who you wanna be
And you thought you'd found that one in me
But it's been a long time since I heard that nameHe doesn't live here anymore
Don't know where he's residing
you can wait here if you want
But I don't think he's coming back
He doesn't live here anymoreSure you've found the right place
The same address you knew before
But that won't change what lies behind the door
And what lies underneath had to change from the inside outHe doesn't live here anymore
Don't know where he's residing
I think it's better if you go
Cause I don't want him coming backYes I know the name sounds a little bit familiar
Like a melody to a dream
Yes I know he wore the same face, the same clothes
But that was so long agoI know who you want to find
Somewhere is the memory of somebody I left behind
Well lets take it all in stride
Yeah it's that time to say goodbye
He doesn't live here anymore -

I think he would be most proud of the day that he isn't remembered anymore...because racism has become so far gone it isn't even a memory.
Not in our lifetimes.
So sad that it takes a murder for someone's cause to receive the attention it deserves.

Three years on JWD. What I have learned.
by wanderlustguy init's almost impossible for anything someone does to be about anything except them...not necessarily bad, but true.
we can only truly see things from our point of view...period.. being broke is better when you are with friends.. there are real people here.
know that at all times.. sometimes you have to be there for someone when it isn't convenient...do it anyway.. frostbite hurts...bad.. pay attention at all times...this thing (life) moves really fast and a little screw up can turn into the mother of all clusterf*cks in a split second.. i don't know sh*t.. .

I'm not really down, these are just obeservations...I do this sometimes.
Frostbitten fingertips, felt like they were on freakin fire Wednesday night, haven't been able to work since.
Back at it Monday...I hope. Nothing like wet sanding in 20 degree weather...not good.

Crazy Idea...or is it? Something similar to the Truth tobacco campaigns
by feenx inhey everbody,
i think it would be great, yet i dont know how plausible it would be, to launch an organized campaign against the wtbs similar what the truth about tobacco people do.
every so often they have a coordinated display to draw attention to tobacco companies as well as the general public about the dangers of smoking, second hand smoke, etc.

Coordination is the diffcult piece of the puzzle. The problem isn't so much getting it done, but the potential backlash (make that inevitable) legally and personally.
It's a lot to take on...David and Goliath.

Everyone lies to varying degrees at different times for differente reasons, so in this case you have to be more specific. If a kid asks if Santa is coming...are you gonna tell him/her the truth? Shatter the hope of a big eyed little girl the night before Christmas? If your girl asks you if these pants make her ass look fat...are you going to say "no...but your ass does"?
Then we have people who say things about themselves that aren't true for a ton of reasons, from pride to low self esteem (they want to be seen differently) to simple disillusionment where the lie is actually true to the person.
Beyond that we can experience malice where someone intends to deceive and the most dangerous of which can convince themselves the lie is true, and then all the signs of a liar disappear for the observer. The amount of time it takes to figure it out depends on the intellectual abilities of the person, in some cases the person can run out so far ahead and imagine so much detail (and retain it) that you'll never really know.
My take when I just woke up and can still barely see the screen.
