Frog's first semester Uni results are in!
by Frog ini realise this is probably quite a dull subject for all my friends here, but this frog can't help but to share her happy moment, cause she's just bursting at the seams with self-congratulatory praise!.
i just logged on to the uni website to get my long awaited semester one results.
i knew i had done well with my essays, pop quizzes etc throughout the semester, but i attributed that to the fact that i had weeks to fine tune my writing and research.

I think us apostates and Anti-WT activists need a LOGO.
by nicolaou ini'm rubbish in the graphics department but perhaps we could get a few simple designs posted here.
something simple that could be included in the header of any of the hundreds of apostate websites.
it might just convey the feeling of solidarity to a common cause.. it shouldn't contain a url, just a short tagline and logo.. .

A fun idea:) Think I'd like a t-shirt screen printed with it. We could all wear them on a universal ex-dub holiday/rememberance day...a time for remembering those of us who have fallen far away from the WT tree, a time for reflection on how bloody lucky and happy we are to have escaped the cult, a time for beer:)
I know a few here who don't take well to the term "apostate". I know most of us just accept it as a bit of a laugh, and don't take it too seriously. Really though none of us here deserve the label that the WT has attributed to us.
Having said that though, I admit I'd be partial to an 'apostates anonymous' T-shirt, which I would wear when I sit on Santa's knee this Christmas...I could get some magnatised calanders made up with the pic, and send them out to my family as gifts to put on their fridge:) frog

It's so wonderful to see such a happy proud dad. I love my dad so much, it's a shame he's still a dub holding on by a thread...dads are great though, especially one's who are proud of their big kids:)
Glad to hear you had such a great time. Here's to many more heart warming family holidays away with your family!frog

No Clapping at Wild Statements at DC????!!!!
by hamsterbait ini just read a post that said the audience was not obediently clapping at the convention when the speakers made wild statements (presumably with the rising nazi voice).
did anyone else notice this.. will others look out for it at their dc and tell us?.
i'm not going.. bwaaaaahhhhhhh.

Frog
Imagine that a DC without wild outbursts of clapping on cue?!...just wouldn't be the same;) Actually I noted in the last DC convo I went to back in 03' the clapping wasn't nearly as spontaneous and vivacious as I remember it used to be. This is of course not a surprise, the spirit it dieing out, and the drones are being unplugged from the collective one by one . I'm feeling really curious about all this, almost enough to make me want to check it out for myself! frog

I wasn't feeling nearly as confident with my exam results though. I would have been quite happy to have just passed. I logged in this morning only to find out that I had been given 'High Distinctions' overall for all my subjects in first semester?!! I'm still really quite shocked, but naturally well pleased with myself at the same time, YAY!
I think this perhaps warrants a few celebratory beers ...if only this poor student could afford the real thing
