  my dad disaggress and backs it up by saying that god has always had an organization or his righteous people on earth.

  it used to be isreal but when jesus came he changed that and established a new convenant/congregation.

  Look for the word: "Class".

  Dont bother gettting a magnifying glass. It aint there.

  Read the context..all Jesus is saying is to stay awake during the last days by means of a parable. Nothing more, nothing less.

  Can you imagine if every object in every parable of Jesus were converted to "classes"? The Matt 24:45 is interpreted this way to justify the WTS position as mouthpiece of God. How else would you be able to control millions of ppl without question? Also, all those prophecies in Revelation that are interpreted to be fulfilled exclusively within the WTS? Here's one: some of the trumpet blasts were fulfilled by the announcement of various resolutions at conventions in the 1930's? Gimme a break...

  no offense at all. This thread was meant to be a "get to know you" type of thread. To see who has that background and is posting here since I'm new to the board.

  Wasn't too concerned about judging who's who, has done what and all that other superficial stuff because along with your thought, it really doesn't matter.

  on the train yesterday on the way home from work, i saw someone sitting in front of me reading a km.

  apparently a sister studying for the service mtng.

  the funny thing was that i noticed that she was underlining every word in the article she was studying.

  I agree classicist, it's one thing to feel the need to underline abstract thoughts or high level information. What's the point of underlining the same ole info about "more field service, more meeting attendance, more personal study?" Is that so difficult to comprehend?

  How bout that?

  The WT is commissioned to be the only ones to accomplish "preaching to the ends of the earth" and they are cutting back, you cant even buy the magazine anywhere or get a subscription, not even available on pdf format on the internet. Pretty hard to get if you asked me. looks like it will be quite a while before the end comes if the WT is primarily responsible for carrying this out to the ends of the earth

  On the train yesterday on the way home from work, I saw someone sitting in front of me reading a KM. Apparently a sister studying for the service mtng. The funny thing was that I noticed that she was underlining EVERY word in the article she was studying. I mean every single word! It even looked like the previous weeks article was underlined that way too. By the end of the month, the whole KM would be underlined!

  Why not just get a big rubber stamp with lines on it and stamp it (How bout that for a DC release? The underlining stamp with the WT logo as the handle.) Have you ever known ppl like that?

  Also, if man is made in God's image, that would mean that all human attributes were first, godly. God cannot give man something that he did not himself have......therefore....God must have had some kind of sexual attraction or need to create or whatever you want to call it.

  This is deep stuff...Food for thought.

  Sex has been stigmatized by the religious cultures of the world as something wicked and dirty, in reality it is a gift from the Creator himself.

  Why do ppl tend to think that there can't be something that parallels the sex act in the other realm? Because it's too holy? WHo came up with the idea that sex=unholy? It's human religions.

  There is no way I would find a female chimp attractive, no matter how good looking she was in her world!.

  Oh I'm sure there are ppl that do! Normal? No. Does it happen? Yes.

  Could an angel get horny when looking at humans humping each other for a 1000 or so yrs? Probably the same way some ppl get horny watching national geographic all day. Somebody get these ppl some porn!

  Maybe there were angels that found female chimps attractive too.
