  well, over the years we as witnesses have endured many failed prophecies from people who claim to have god's cell phone number.

  it got me wondering, how much worse could we do individually?.

  what predictions do you all have for, say, the next 50 years?

  these babies are annual bloomers, only staying for about a month or two.

  we've often had the scripture "the little one will become a thousand, small one a mighty nation" applied to the modern-day organization...........often represented as an amazing fulfillment of bible prophecy.. actually anything with a growth rate will increase exponentially in time.

  (it's easy to figure out with natural logarithms).

  looking back at some previous years, there was some exceptional growth, resulting in large increases every ten years or less.

  Do you capitalize the word "internet"?

  this is a total fluff thread.. technically, i think it is supposed to be capitalized because it represents the internet, the worldwide network of networks, as opposed to any old connection of networks.

  but to me, capitalizing it seems somehow...archaic, as if we're still in awe that it even exists.

  at some point, doesn't its existence become so routine that we treat it as a normal noun, like "radio"?

  personally I dont cap it just cuz I'm too lazy But there is only one 'the internet' (ok so there's the internet2 but...). It is the proper name for the global public IP network. So ya strictly speeking I think the school marms would say to cap it.
