I had a dream last night, that I was being tried by the congregation. It was outside, in the woods, elders standing around me in a circle. Well, the guilty verdict comes and I am to be executed. One of the elders takes a gun and shoots me in the chest. It makes a very small hole and no exit wound. I think to myself ?that must be like a .22 or .38 they shot me with.? Anyhow it was very painful even though it was a dream, but I didn?t die. They kept waiting for me to die but finally got tired and went about their business. I thought I was going to die too but enough time went by that I realized it was not a mortal wound. In fact (somehow) I deduced that they purposefully shot in such a way so as to miss any vital organs, so I wouldn?t die. Kind of like Nameless did with his sword in the movie Hero.

So any thoughts on what my subconscious is trying to tell me?

Now for the real reason of this topic. Is it just me or has this board exploded with activity? When I first came here end of January, I could read practically every post, with ease. Now I struggle to keep up. There is no way I can read every topic that comes across much less everyones post. I'm not any busier, I think the board is. Does this portend something for the near future?

Remember that the Law was a tutor leading to Christ. The Law organized people under a nation, as well as under a highly hierarchical, ceremonial religion.
One of the things that the Law should have led the Jews to understand is that, relationships with God don?t work well under an earthly institution. Institutions become corrupt, and damage people even if they are based on a perfect Law. Christ removed the law and from his people and mediatorship from the priests. He became King, Lawgiver, Mediator, and High Priest. For a spirit begotten son of his, a human institution is absolutely unnecessary, and harmful. We have so much more now than the Jews did, we don?t need an organization to tell us what is right and wrong. It is between me and him now. You and Christ.

Now the Israelites did not do what they were told with no explanation, Moses preformed many signs for them proving he was chosen as a leader and archetype of Christ. Also the Jews were under no obligation to follow a leader who had not given proof of his anointing or if he told them to do things that were wrong.

No human or group could ever claim this leadership/Priestly role again as it is a position that only belongs to Jesus.

Who is really superior?

here?s question, we had a talk a few weeks about the "gifts in men," namely the elders.

they kept on saying how much more superior the congregation is over the elders, the elders in essence work for us and are our servants or slaves.

nice thought and all but if that?s the case why is there so much secrecy?

Many elders lord over the flock. It is the result of being lorded over by the COs and service desk.

It was surreal. Your impressions of the "Monthly Awake!" service meeting?

at our service meeting the conductor of "more emphasis on the bible!

" (the march kingdom ministry article discussing the monthly awake!

) routinely asked the questions, comments were read from the paragraph and there was a rediculous emphasis on the scriptures cited, even to the point that wt references were given that had nothing to do with the subject.
