  I think you guys didnt get the memo. We call it climate change now not global warming.

  1. The earth warms up/the earth cools down. It does this on its own. Global climate has changed bunches o' times without our help. It'll do it a bunch more times after we have been replaced on this planet by the next evolutionary prime species.

  2. It is a bad idea to shit in our own backyard.

  3. There is lots of money/control to be made/had by scaring people.

  4. Better yet trick them into being at fault for normal changes to earthine clime.

  Atheism as a psychological phenomenon.

  theism in its various forms has been since the beginning subjected to psychological analysis and treated as a phenomenon of the human mind.

  perhaps it is time to turn the lens and examine the psychological reasons for atheism as well.

  this approach should be especially inoffensive to many atheists/materialists since in their worldview, all phenomena are reducible to natural causes.

  i have long thought of doing this, but could never see any good it would do except make me feel good for a few seconds.

  i also feel that when you do this you let them win.

  There is no way to get out of playing by their rules. The way I see it fading is 'playing by their rules". Faders are still considered witnesses. Weak witnesses but witnesses nonetheless.
  
  I did not want my name associated with a murderous, lying, pedophile hiding organization. Disassociation is the only way to quickly and rather effortlessly disconnect your name from that group. My name is very important to me.
  
  Now I can live my life on my terms without constantly looking over my shoulder worrying about who sees my Christmas decorations or who I'm dating etc.
  
  I used to look down on faders. Now I kinda realize people got to do what they got to do to survive.

  Meeting for baptized brothers only???

  recently they made an announcement at our hall that there would be a meeting for all baptized brothers only, no matter how young or old, or whether you are serving or not.

  any baptized brother.

  one of the elders wives said there is a 45 minute outline from the branch and then another 15 minute part.

  even meeting them?......i have quite a few friends here....some i have met...some i have not......but i am really amazed at how well you can get to know and appreciate other people here, without ever having met them in person....i guess the kids with the myspace and facebook etc....are used to it...but i had never even visited any type of online community except for a car or motorcycle question!!!..........

  there are so many of you here i would love to have over to my apostabeachplace....which i could arrange on my apostaphone......and if i ever do win the lottery,i will fly you in on my apostajet.............oompa.
