  Ex dubbies everywhere

  so i'm having dinner in a bar here in olympia.

  someone said something about cults.

  then somebody else mentioned jehovah's witnesses.. to my right, the woman's ex-inlaws were all dubs.

  i've never been jw myself but my best friend is, so i'm very interested in this organization.

  hi, i am new to this site.

  i have been an ex- jw for about 10years now, and this is the first time i have done this.

  ( trying to avoid the "apostate" label) haha i would love to hear from some ex- jw's, and see if they have and are going thru some of the same experiences that i am.

  i'm just new to this internet stuff and am studying with the jehovah's witnesses at present.please don't take my lack of knowledge as cheek.

  i just want to know if it's meant to be only jehovah's witnesses using this site.

  i fully intend to become baptised but was wondering if there's any security to prevent people who shouldn't be using the site and are maybe abusing it from doing so.

  Something doesnt ring true here. it may just be my suspicious mind, but does anyone else feel something is amiss?

  First Yvonne 'stumbles across' this forum. She went through the process of registering. I find it hard to believe she didnt read any of the site content before she registered. As soon as the first page came up and i read some of the post titles, i knew what id entered into, let alone when i actually read some of them in more detail.

  If she is studying and regularly going to kh, she must have been told about these kind of sites. i was told several times by several people.

  The day after she registers, witnessdefence registers. Someone who fiercly defends Jw's but isnt one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! have you ever defended a cause you havent been involved in.

  Could Yvonne and witnessdefence be one and the same person, just having a laugh. very strange.

  anyway, had my study today. got to go to work now, but will update you when i get time.

  well things certainly hotted up on here didnt they! I switched on and thought, how on earth did this get over 100 replies. Now I see.

  Witnessdefence - why are you being so defense of witnesses if you arent one?

  Also, jws DO think they are the only ones who will survive at Armageddon because i have asked today - and yes they do believe that. everyone else will apparently die. but if anyone isnt a witness and die before armageddon, then they could be resurrected. can you explain?

  and they do think they are a spirit directed org, bec it is in the baptism questions. but when i asked today, i was told they are ordinary men who are not spirit directed.

  please dont think we are all those horrible things you say. lots of people like me have been searching for the truth for a long time.

  If you are not a witness, did you just come on here to wind everyone up? well you certainly did that. i thought that was unscriptural too.

  I hope you are still reading all these Yvonne. your post has certainly caused a stir.
