INFORMATION
The constructs of the Watchtower organization where built upon 'reasearchers' who had an enthusiasm for bible prophecy in 'thier' time. The ordinary folk, having the answers to life's great questions provided to them by 'experts', who had the only -full access- to information to decipher the bible codes.
I believe these orgininal reasearchers were honest in their predictions, however, as its all bunk, the prophecies failed.
The big problem with the Watchtower's corperation's, is that they still hang on to the wishfull thinking of the millerite prophets. They built the 'Truth' into fact which desolves with inevatability.
With the information age, this process is speeded up.
If you are going to purchase a carpet what do you do. See some TV commercials, get some suggestions from freinds, and then - search the internet for the best deals. This is common practice.
This is becoming the deal with new JDub recruites.
