Yeah, I know this is going to be off topic, however, I had a bad day at work, am half way through a bottle of wine, and AuldSoul's initial post is too lo------ng to read tonight, so:

I was chatting to my mother(JW) on the phone. She knows I live in the Brooklyn Heights area, and have contact will some bethel boys, and she asked me about the NGO thing. I gave her the UN web site address of the letter from the NGO chief, and now she's convinced they got it wrong, and didn't admit it.

AuldSoul, man I thought you writing about something else. I'm putting together an essay on sophistry and using the '7 times' thread as reference, so I thought this was going to be something similar.

I would recommend, as an example, and as another piece of Internet lingo, that readers check out wiki for the 'chewbacca defence'. A great example of sophistry, and quite entertaining, especially when thinking of the context of defenders of the indefensible.

everyone has a song that reminds them of a particular moment in their lives, happy or sad or sometimes indifferent.

its only that when you hear that song it takes you back even catching you off guard and suddenly your back in high school or remembering someone you loved and lost.

how many of you have a song that reminds you of leaving the org.

Worldy Andrey, that reminded me of when I was playing 'I am the Walrus' and my mother burst into my room and confiscated my LP saying 'that music is demon influenced'.

Which has just reminded me of when I was learning the piano as a kid, my father hit me for playing a practice song. That song was 'jingle bells'.

COLLEGE!

oh, so in the midst of everything else, college is goin well.. about 30 % of my high school graduating class came here, so its really just like high school part2.

i have 2 morning classes, and 2 night classes, so that way the majority of my schooling gets done on 2 days of the week instead of 4. last night was my first night in my english 111 class.

i already knew thaqt there was one witness in there, but its someone who i've kept up with, and someone who is cool with me, as i am.

Anybody have any ideas about how to make this girl squirm?

I would say, ultimately, the thing that would piss her off the most would be to treat her with the utmost civility. Show her the same respect as you would others in the class.
