  JW Control over Our Personal Conscience

  here in england we are currently celebrating v. e. day which reminds us overwhelmingly of the individual sacrifices too numerous to imagine that prevented our country being taken over by the nazi regime.

  as a jw i was told that if i supported any charities such as the poppy day for the veterans and their families, i was actually supporting the whole idea of the war and would therefore be opposing the kingdom.

  foolishly, i felt i had no choice but to 'ignore my heart' and its desire to indicate my appreciation to those who sacrificed the ultimate on my behalf.

  This year i gave money to the anzacs....i felt so good bout it like i was honouring my pop who had been in the war. Just wish i would have done it while he was alive es

  loans for college

  i dont understand how it works.

  all i know is, my dad got approved for a $20,000 loan.

  he will have to pay $800 a month.

  hey there, Here in Australia we have things called hex fees where the student can pay off his college fees over many years. My partner has just finished paying his uni fees last year after completing uni bout 5 years ago. Do you guys have something like that? Maybe be better than borrowing money off folks especially if things are the best between you hope this helps es

  Things are more serious for Ozzie..................

  .....................i received an sms from mrs ozzie last night informing me that ozzie is having an extremely risky operation on wednesday morning, 8am australian time.

  i can't give more details at this stage as to the procedure due to confidentiality but i can assure you it is going to be dangerous!

  mrs ozzie said that it had to be done despite the risk.. so if all of us here could take a moment tomorrow and send positive thoughts.

  Headaches?????

  i have been getting headaches for the past year or so.

  i have never had this problem in my life with bad headaches.

  now it is not huge pain but a 5 out of 10. it is everyday and hits me at 2 pm.. my neck is stiff and it hurts.

  I so feel your pain i have had that problem for years unfortunately im so used to pain killers that they dont do anything anymore. I usually get them when im stressed or havent had enuf sleep or hormonal problems. But whats helped is i have invested in one of those chiro pillows i havent had a headache for months now which is really saying something for me. Hope this helps es
